" They must have figured out that we would come find them" The king said touching his jaws

" Your majesty, The crown prince had arrived" one of the king's servant announced
" The crown prince?" The king asked as he wasn't expecting his sudden arrival
" You don't seem happy to see me father" The crown prince said when he had entered the throne room, he bowed to his father
" What brought you back to the palace? You left to have your own life for months, are you tired of getting drunk and sleeping around with women?" The king asked him
" Not at all father, I figured out you might need me. I heard from my messenger that you were planning war with the Konans and I rushed to stop you considering the fact that it must be for some personal reasons like ... You are still angry that their king married your long time crush instead of you" the prince said grinning
The king angrily looked at him " I have no time for your drama and drunk words. You can go have a rest as nothing in this palace concerns you" The king said to him
" You can't wage war at the Konans father, they did nothing to you and beside; they still mourn their king" The prince told him
" I guess your so called messenger didn't live to send you the news" the king said
" What news father?" He asked
" We were defeated by the Konans, only eight of our soldiers lived to tell the story" The king answered
