"There's a lower realm?" Haze asked, tilting his head slightly. His tone carried genuine curiosity, not surprise.
Hades looked at him with a faint frown, the kind that said you should already know this by now. His pale eyes seemed to narrow slightly as he spoke. "Yes," he said in a steady, calm voice. "The underworld is divided into realms. The upper realm, which is here, where we stay, and the lower realms, Nekros Bazaar is one of those."
Haze blinked slowly, thinking about that. His gaze drifted toward the faint blue fire burning nearby, the light flickering softly across the smooth stone walls. "So," he said after a moment, "there's more to this place than just what we see up here?"
"Yes," Hades replied simply. His tone was even, but his expression looked a little distant, as if his thoughts had already wandered somewhere else while he spoke.
Haze leaned back slightly, still looking curious. "So what happens in the lower realms?" he asked after a pause.
