Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

Alright, let's dive into the emotional rollercoaster that is my mom's life. I'm Harry Potter—Harkel, if you're keeping track—and right now, I'm pretty much stuck in a comic book where everyone's going through the ringer.

So, picture this: My mom, Lily, has just stepped into the backyard of the Old Potter House, and let me tell you, it's not a scene out of a light-hearted sitcom. The backyard looks like it's been auditioning for a role in a gothic horror movie. The old oak tree stands there like it's auditioning for the role of Grim Reaper, casting shadows that make it look like someone's permanently turned down the brightness on our family photo album.

Mom's legs are shaking as if she's walking on an icy pond. I mean, it's been ages since she's visited Rose's grave. And with everything going on—discovering my Kryptonian roots and dealing with her heartbreaking miscarriage—she's got more weight on her shoulders than a superhero in a gravity field.

She kneels by the tree, her fingers brushing the rough bark. This is one of those moments that's supposed to be profound and meaningful, but let's be honest, it's also kind of heart-wrenching. Tears? Definitely. I'd say she's more emotionally drenched than a sponge in a monsoon.

"Rose," she whispers, and her voice cracks like a cheap pair of sunglasses. "I'm so sorry. I wish things could have been different."

While she's soaking up the emotional vibes, her mind is likely flashing back to every dream she had for Rose. The kind of dreams that are so perfect you almost forget reality is an uninvited guest at the party. And now? Now she's facing a whirlwind of pain that could rival any natural disaster.

But wait—there's a twist! As she's wrapped up in sorrow, she's also marveling at the fact that Rose is, like, part of the universe's greatest hits album. The rustling leaves and whispering wind? They're basically her way of saying, "Hey, I'm still here, just not in the way you expected."

Then there's the kicker: she's got this new, shiny piece of worry about me being half-Kryptonian. Yep, that's right—I'm not just a wizard; I'm also part of some alien royal family. Mom's having a total existential crisis trying to figure out what that means.

"Great," she's probably thinking. "What's next? Harry's going to start flying around and shooting lasers from his eyes?"

Despite her confusion and doubts, Mom's heart is firmly in the right place. She's got this fierce determination to stick by me, no matter how many intergalactic crises we face. And that's something. No matter how weird things get, she's not going anywhere.

So there she is, sitting under the tree like a scene out of a soap opera, surrounded by nature and a heavy dose of tranquility. In the midst of all the chaos and uncertainty, she finds a sliver of peace. And me? Well, I'm just trying to make sense of it all while navigating this crazy world of wizards, aliens, and family drama.

Mom's got her heart set on holding the family together, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that no matter how wild the story gets, love has a way of making everything a little more bearable.

Okay, so here's the deal: the night of Halloween was like someone decided to turn my life into a bad soap opera. My mom, Lily, couldn't shake off the mess that had hit the fan. Just when James started dropping some major truth bombs about my origins—like, "Hey, Harry, guess what? You're not just a wizard, you're also part Kryptonian!"—Dumbledore shows up like he's been waiting around the corner with a timer.

You ever get that feeling when someone shows up right after a big disaster and you're like, "Did they know this was going to happen?" That's exactly what Lily was thinking. It was like Dumbledore had a crystal ball—or maybe just a really inconveniently timed intervention.

And then there was the look on Dumbledore's face when he found out James and Lily were alive. I'm talking about the look you get when your favorite TV show just got canceled. Not joy, not relief—just pure, unfiltered surprise. Like, "Oops, didn't see that coming." That look was enough to make Lily's internal alarm bells ring so loud they could probably be heard in another dimension.

Was Dumbledore keeping secrets? Manipulating things from behind the curtain? Lily was feeling like she'd been cast in an elaborate magic trick where the rabbit was always missing. Her instincts were screaming that there was more to the story. So, naturally, she decided to dive headfirst into finding out what was really going on.

Fast forward to Hogwarts. The scene was like someone had thrown a magical grenade into a library. Barty Crouch Sr. marches in with a squad of Aurors, and suddenly Hogwarts felt like the set of an old Western movie where things were about to get ugly. Wands were drawn, accusations were flying, and I was standing there thinking, "Great, just what we needed—an Auror stampede."

Sirius Black, my godfather and all-around awesome guy, was being accused of the worst crime ever: betraying us. The man had been there for us through thick and thin, and now he's in the hot seat. It was like watching your favorite superhero get framed for a bank heist they didn't commit.

Mom, bless her, decided to channel her inner drama queen. She stepped forward and shouted, "Stop! Sirius is innocent!" If there was ever a moment to be loud and proud, this was it. Unfortunately, the Aurors were as deaf to reason as they were to her pleas.

Seeing things spiraling out of control, James had a lightbulb moment. Instead of a big, dramatic showdown, he decided to go for the most epic mic drop ever. "I swear on my magic," he proclaimed, "Sirius Black is innocent. The real traitor is Peter Pettigrew!"

Cue the dramatic pause. The crowd went silent, like someone had hit the mute button on the universe. Then, it was like the lid blew off a pressure cooker. Accusations flew, people pointed fingers, and chaos erupted as the truth about Pettigrew came to light.

With James's epic truth-bomb, the whole game changed. Sirius's name was cleared, and suddenly, we were in the middle of a whirlwind of revelations. It was like playing a high-stakes game of magical poker where the stakes were our lives.

After the dust settled and Madam Pomfrey made sure no one was bleeding or, you know, hexed, we packed up and got out of Hogwarts. Dumbledore was not thrilled. Imagine someone who just had their favorite ice cream flavor discontinued—yeah, that was him. He wanted to keep us safe, but now we were leaving, and he was left watching us disappear into the night.

So, there we were—Lily, James, Sirius, and me—heading off into a future that promised to be about as clear as a foggy day. With Sirius's innocence proven and the threat still looming, we knew our path forward wasn't going to be a walk in the park. But with the truth on our side and each other, we were ready to face whatever crazy twist came next. After all, if you're living in a magical world that's basically a live-action fantasy novel, you've got to roll with the punches.

Alright, buckle up, because things just got real intense. We were all crammed into Sirius's house—aka the scene of many a crazy adventure—and it was time for James and Sirius to drop some heavy news. I'm talking "Your life is about to change forever" level heavy.

So, there we were, with James and Sirius looking like they were about to announce they'd accidentally turned Hogwarts into a giant chocolate fountain. They started spilling the beans about that horrible Halloween night—the miscarriage, the chaos, and, oh yeah, the fact that I'm part Kryptonian. Because, apparently, a normal wizard baby just wasn't exciting enough.

When they finally laid it all out, it was like my mom's world imploded. Imagine her heart cracking into a million pieces while she's being told that the one thing she thought she knew—the truth about her family—is actually a cosmic joke. The revelation that I wasn't just a regular wizard baby but a Kryptonian too? That was like telling someone their pet goldfish was actually a dragon.

Mom was a storm of emotions: hurt, anger, and a whole lot of betrayal. It was like watching a tornado tear through a scrapbook of happy memories. I could see the pain in her eyes, and it made me wish I had superpowers to fix everything right then and there.

Tears started streaming down her face like someone had turned on a faucet. I saw her struggling with the weight of it all, trying to hold it together while feeling like her world was being torn apart. I'm no expert in fixing broken hearts, but it was clear she needed some serious comfort.

That's when the universe threw me a bone. With my toddler legs wobbling, I made a beeline for Mom, my little chubby hands reaching out to her. My "Mama" was probably the most heartfelt thing I could say. I figured if I could be her emotional superhero for a moment, I'd give it my best shot.

"Mama," I said, doing my best to sound as adorable as possible. My tiny voice probably had the emotional power of a teddy bear.

Seeing me, Mom's heart seemed to crumble even more, but in a good way? She scooped me up like I was the most precious thing in the world, and honestly, in that moment, I was. She held me close, tears soaking into my baby blanket, and I could tell she was finding some solace in the fact that her baby was there for her.

"Mama's here, my darling," she whispered, and I could feel her warmth as she pressed her cheek against my head. Her love was like a lifeline, and for a second, it felt like we were the only two people in the universe who mattered.

As she hugged me tight, burying her face in my neck, the world outside faded away. In the middle of all the chaos and betrayal, it was just us—mother and son, clinging to each other like lifebuoys in a stormy sea. I could feel her heartbeat and smell the comforting scent of baby powder, which, surprisingly, was doing wonders to calm her down.

So there we were, holding each other close. Even with the weight of everything crashing down, we had each other. And in that simple, powerful embrace, I knew we'd face whatever crazy plot twist life had in store for us next. Together, as a family, we'd navigate through the storm and find our way to whatever came next.

So, picture this: Lily, clutching me like I'm the last cookie in the jar, turns to James and Sirius with that look in her eyes—the one that says "I'm about to ask for something totally mind-blowing."

"James, Sirius," she says, her voice a mix of soft and steely determination, "I need to see Harry's ship. Please, show me."

Now, James and Sirius exchange that silent glance of, "Uh-oh, here comes the heavy stuff." It's like they're having a non-verbal debate about whether they should get her a cup of coffee or just admit they're about to blow her mind. With a nod, they lead her to the corner of the room where the ship—yeah, the spaceship—sits all sleek and mysterious, like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.

Lily's heart is practically doing the cha-cha as she gets closer. The ship's surface is shiny and cool, practically begging to be touched. With trembling fingers, she reaches out, and as her hand makes contact, the ship hums like it's saying, "Well, it's about time!"

Suddenly, the room fills with this soft glow, and bam—a holographic projection of a woman appears. She's got this ethereal vibe, like she just floated out of a cosmic dream.

"Greetings, Lily Potter," the holographic lady says, and she sounds like she's been taking voice lessons from an angel. "I am Sera-Vex, mother of Harkel Lor-Zel."

Lily's eyes nearly pop out of her head. "Hello, Sera-Vex," she says, barely able to contain her awe. "It's an honor to meet the woman who gave Harry a shot at life."

Sera-Vex's hologram shimmers with this warm, reassuring glow. "The honor is mine, Lily Potter," she replies. "I've been keeping an eye on Harkel from afar, and it's heartening to see him so loved and cared for."

Mom's face softens, and she practically beams. "Thank you," she says, voice cracking a bit. "Thank you for trusting us with Harry and giving him a chance at happiness."

Sera-Vex nods, her whole presence radiating peace and love. "It was an act of love," she says gently. "Seeing Harkel surrounded by such care and affection fills me with hope."

As Lily gazes at this cosmic figure, you can practically see the connection she feels—like they're united by a shared cosmic fate. It's not just about being bound by blood or destiny; it's this super-deep bond of love that's going to guide them through whatever crazy stuff life throws their way.

And there we are, mother, holographic alien mom, and me, snuggled up in this moment of cosmic connection. As surreal as it is, I'm glad we've got this bond. Because, let's face it, in the world of wizards and Kryptonians, you've got to take every bit of hope and love you can get.

Okay, let's set the scene: picture Lily Potter, a mom juggling the cosmic chaos of being the mother of a Kryptonian wizard and the grief of a past loss, sitting under this enormous, ancient oak tree. I'm talking "old enough to have seen a few centuries' worth of drama" kind of old. She's deep in thought, her heart in one of those sentimental spirals that make you want to binge-watch tearjerker movies.

Then comes this sound—the happy, carefree giggles of her toddler son, the kind that can make even the most stoic person crack a smile. But Lily's not exactly in a laughing mood. She looks over at a small, makeshift grave by the tree—her poignant reminder of Rose, the daughter she lost, and the sibling her son will never meet.

"Alright, Rose," she whispers, as if the winds could carry her words straight to her lost daughter. "I have to go now. Your brother's calling for me, and I really shouldn't keep him waiting."

She gives the grave one last, wistful look before pushing herself up. Her heart feels like it's dragging an anchor, heavy with grief and longing. Sure, she'll never fully leave Rose behind, but she's got to keep moving for the little guy who needs her now.

As Lily strolls away from the oak tree, her footsteps sound like they're in a slow-motion reel. The garden is quiet, almost like it's holding its breath. She carries with her the memory of Rose—a comforting presence that lingers at the edge of her mind, like that one song you can't stop humming.

Even with the weight of loss hanging around her neck like a really sad necklace, Lily's got this spark of hope. It's like a beacon of light, connecting her to both the child she had to let go and the one who fell from the stars and into her life.

So, as she takes each step, Lily's embracing this mix of remembering and renewing. Time might pass, seasons might change, but the love binding her family together? That's as unbreakable as an ancient prophecy. In that endless embrace of love and hope, she finds the strength to face whatever comes next—and maybe, just maybe, a hint of brighter tomorrows.
