"Let's go."
Hearing Sun Jack's urging, AA could only reluctantly pick up some useful things and follow him, leaving the place filled with corpses.
"Boss, we've killed so many of them, won't they take revenge?"
"They have to find us first. They've destroyed all the surveillance themselves."
As he spoke, Sun Jack pulled out some chips from his pocket. After some thought, he only took out two.
"Boss, I'm hungry, I haven't had enough to eat." AA looked at Sun Jack innocently.
Sun Jack turned to look at her, thought for a moment, and directly emptied all the chips from his pocket, reaching out to vigorously rub her head, "Let's go! We have money now! Let's go for a feast!"
Slurp slurp, AA gulped down beef noodles, savoring the deliciousness, her eyes almost glowing.
Meanwhile, Sun Jack was gobbling up real fried chicken, and the authentic aroma of the food almost filled his exhausted soul.
"Boss! This is delicious! What's this?" AA handed Sun Jack a bitten yellow fruit.
Sun Jack took it, bit into it, and instantly a rich juice burst in his mouth. "This is a loquat."
It was a high-end buffet in Varanasi. Black snow flew outside, cold steel making the opulence of the food inside more pronounced, with bountiful fruits on the trees, streams of liquor carrying food-laden boats circling them.
"Boss! I want to drink!"
"Drink!" Sun Jack took a shell of an oyster, scooped up liquor from the stream, and handed it to AA.
Everything there was real food, with no synthetic traces. As Sun Jack ate, he felt the brightness around him increase.
But some food was quite avant-garde. When Sun Jack saw an oil-drenched roast duck with its steamy children waddling by, he almost spat out his food.
"Oh, Tapai, look at this guy, truly a damn hell!" Sun Jack laughed, but then paused in his tracks.
Next to him, AA, her eyes a bit red, raised the oyster shell filled with liquor and handed it back to Sun Jack.
Sun Jack took it and poured it all down his throat, "Drink!"
They left the restaurant looking almost a size larger, but this was not the end. Sun Jack took AA to the next entertainment venue.
For some reason, when he found he had become someone who no one cared about, able to do whatever he wished, Sun Jack suddenly felt very happy, extremely happy.
In the hologram, Sun Jack held a microphone, standing atop a mechanized giant dragon, loudly shouting, seemingly wanting to release all the pressure within him, but without the Holy Grail, he didn't know what pressure he had.
Beside him, the drunken AA punched the air in sync with Sun Jack's music and rap, occasionally retching.
Afterwards, where they went, Sun Jack had forgotten; he only remembered that now whatever he did, no one was watching.
In a daze, Sun Jack suddenly opened his eyes, and upon seeing the ceiling, his expression tightened instantly, laser blades sprung from his arms, and with an adrenal implant, his combat exoskeleton entered combat mode.
But when the fully-armed Sun Jack locked onto a target, he saw a cleaning robot slowly passing by.
"Damn, scared me." Sun Jack kicked it, then looked at his combat prosthesis, "Where did I go yesterday? When did I install so much?"
Then his expression tightened again, "Was I too reckless yesterday? Did anyone notice? Did someone collect our info, preparing to sell it?"
With this thought, he seriously opened his neural system, checking all paths from yesterday.
At that moment, AA, lying on the couch, was awakened by Sun Jack's commotion. She, bleary-eyed, watched Sun Jack bustling around, occasionally cautiously peeking out the window.
"Boss, what are you doing?" She picked up the shirt thrown onto a lampshade, putting it on, curiously asked.
"Get up! Get ready! We're leaving this city immediately! It might be exposed!"
Sun Jack had already opened the software to book tickets, but soon closed it, thinking it left too much of a trail and instead used the onion network to access the dark web.
"Boss..." AA walked over and tried to pat Sun Jack's shoulder but was shrugged off.
Suddenly Sun Jack turned abruptly, nervously grabbing her arms, quickly inspecting her body, "What about you? How many new prostheses do you have? Through which channel did you buy them?"
AA looked at Sun Jack with a complex expression, quietly shouting a few times but found he was completely absorbed in his own matters, not paying attention.
"Boss!!" As AA almost forced herself to scream, Sun Jack finally stopped.
"No one is noticing us anymore! There's no Holy Grail! No Gaofeng Company! They're attracted by the real Sun Jack! No one is paying us any attention!!"
"Wake up from Sun Jack's perspective! You're not Sun Jack! You're not the Boss! Overthrowing the Holy Grail mission, Tapai, Si Ai, even the longing for Hilda, all belong to the real Sun Jack! You're just a clone of him! A meaningless clone!!"
Sun Jack halted, the room instantly quieted down, leaving only AA's rhythmic breathing.
Sun Jack paused for a long time. During this period, no enemy rushed into the room to attack them, nor did anything happen. It all made Sun Jack's earlier extreme actions seem like a joke, and also confirmed the truth of what AA said from the side.
But soon he rallied again, "No, my existence has meaning. My purpose is to protect you! Even if you don't recognize me as your boss, I must protect you!"
"I can't let the Holy Grail replace AA like a toy! As long as I protect the real AA, my existence has meaning!" Sun Jack resumed his previous actions, completely unaware that AA was silently crying behind him.
Just as Sun Jack was quickly preparing everything, ready to leave, AA's choked voice came from behind. "Then if I'm also cloned, will you protect me like before? Or does only the real AA have meaning for you?"
As Sun Jack stiffly and incredulously turned around, AA squatted down, covering her face, and cried bitterly. "I'm not the real AA, the real AA is still in Metropolis! I'm just a clone like you!"
