This marked one of the rare moments in the Empire's history where an initial legion took such a heavy loss. However, the remaining Phoenix warriors were already few in number. The acting Battle Group Leader had just been chosen, making any attempts at revenge highly challenging. They could only rely on their subsidiary groups to contribute whatever efforts they could.
