Almost instinctively, everyone looked at Aisha, the last person to have contact with Shari and the only one likely to know the truth.
"Impossible!" Aisha, having snapped back to her senses, was extremely terrified, her face pale and lips purple, almost shouting, "She fell off the hill, those ghosts caught up, right behind her!"
"She couldn't survive! No one could survive in such a situation!"
Aisha's reaction was expected; Yang Xiao didn't believe that a newcomer who had been missing for a night could return unscathed, unless the one returning wasn't human.
"It's a ghost, a ghost trying to sneak in." Maria pressed her lips tightly, staring in the direction of the door, as if the ghost would appear at any second.
"Ghost? What ghost wants to sneak in?" Davi was frightened, shivering violently.
She couldn't understand, initially relieved upon learning that the teammate missing overnight was safe, yet seeing everyone's reactions, it seemed they didn't want Shari to return safely.
