Chapter 350 - Diamond Style

Forrest soared straight out of the smoke screen influenced by the falling meteors that grew the raging fires across the battlefield and threw his fist straight in the direction of Pyron, blowing away all the black smoke that continued to affect his fighting performance. "This smoke is for sure going to have a lasting effect on me if I continue breathing it in!" he thought to himself, noticing five meteors coming straight at him from overhead. Super Duper Muscle Man, the succeeding ability to Super Muscle Man, enhanced Forrest's physical strength and the flow of energy within his body. With the continuous training he had endured from King Raja, he had fully adapted to the force this new technique posed on his body, using additional energy that flowed within to predict and counter attacks before they made contact with his body.

"That's the same guy who I fought back in the Underground City!?" Kevin thought to himself, watching his swift movements upon noticing the meteors. He aimed both of his palms in the same direction, extracting some of the force that flowed through his hands and successfully neutralizing the meteors with a massive explosion. "Over the past few months, you haven't been the only one who's improved in terms of combat!" Forrest called straight to Kevin. "If you grow in terms of power, I'LL GROW TWO TIMES MORE!" He collided against the ground right in front of Pyron, the force coursing through his legs causing the ground surrounding him to rise by a significant amount. Multiple diamonds swiftly revolved across his body, bringing a bright smile straight to his face. "I WON'T LET YOU OVERSHADOW ME!" he declared.

Volume 13, Chapter 30 - Diamond Style

"That style…" Itama observed, his eyes focused on the circulating diamonds across Forrest's body. "Not only has he found a way to maximize the force his body conveys, but he's combining it with his base power!" Pyron watched as the diamonds that circulated across Forrest's body compressed into a thread that descended straight into his hand. "I've been waiting tirelessly to showcase this new form, and it seems like this is the PERFECT CHANCE!" he exclaimed, lifting the thread into the air and swinging it straight at Pyron, who blew its fire straight into the air. With a singular swing, the fire disappeared straight into the abyss, sending a gust of wind straight towards Forrest. The other end of the thread flew back straight towards him, landing right between his two fingers. "Diamond Style - Thread of Absorption!"

The fire absorbed by the thread soared back across the forest and knocked Pyron right off its feet yet again, following a roar of rage that sent slight chills through Kevin and Itama. "Alright, it's time to bring a stop to the fight!" he decided, leaping up into the air yet again and turning his head to his teammates present on the battlefield. "How much energy do you guys still have left?"

Before Kevin could respond to Forrest's question, he felt the presence of proximity transmission picking up yet again within his mind. "Itama, you feel that?" he asked, picturing an identical setting to the one they had encountered before. Itama lifted his head off the ground upon the mention of his name, nodding his head to Kevin's question. "I feel what you're feeling, but I have a weaker connection to it than you as of right now…"

Forrest soared across the trees with the stored energy in his legs, his eyes focused on Pyron's persisting vicious vibe. "What the hell is going on with me!?" he said to himself, roughly picking up the proximity transmission that Pyron had been giving out to its opponents. About a second later, his view changed to a realm of ruin similar to the link Itama and Kevin had witnessed before. "So, it seems like we're witnessing a proximity transmission link yet again," Itama informed, the metal of his sword scraping against the case as he slowly slid them out. They all glanced towards the center of the fiery realm, noticing the same boy Itama and Kevin had witnessed back during the first link. This time, however, the boy was trying his hardest to restrain a red substance that blanketed his body like an invasive species. "WHAT'S THE POINT OF LIFE IF NOBODY WILL ACCEPT ME!?" he screamed, submitting to the substance completely.

"Hell no!" Kevin called out, clenching both of his fists and charging straight towards the boy. "It's similar to the one I linked with in the Land of Stone!"

Despite the red substance that aggressively coated his body, the small boy opened his eyes and looked straight at Itama, Forrest, and Kevin. "The time has not come yet for my freedom - nor has it come for the impending crisis that will soon shake this world to its core." Another dark cloud appeared right on Forrest, Kevin, and Itama's mouths, forcing them to watch in silence as the boy continued to ramble on about the future. He glanced specifically at Kevin, and a smile beamed across his face. "Who knew of all people that you would be the one to save me from this nightmare?"

About a second later, the link between them broke. Itama glanced at the sky yet again to notice that the fires surrounding them had been completely extinguished, and Pyron had completely disappeared from the Winding Forest. Despite Pyron's disappearance, Team Pyron's determination ceased to disappear - instead, it had just grown exponentially.
