Meanwhile in the city of ART, Kevin, using his gravitational powers to hop from one building to another, scouted the city closely to assure himself that no enemies were around. Even though nobody was within his sight, however, he felt a disturbing yet familiar presence lurking somewhere around him, and it seemed like it was approaching him at rapid speeds. Kevin stopped on the tallest building in the city, watching the flying cars continue to soar across the skies of ART as the crowds grew larger and larger with each passing second. The slow but steady wind blew Kevin's hair, the atmosphere around him matching the cautious vibe he had internally. All of a sudden, his heart skipped a beat, causing him to backflip straight off the building. Looking back up, he noticed something had collided with it, and he was sure it was an enemy. "What do you want with Vinnie!?" he angrily exclaimed, pressing his foot against the air and accelerating back up. The dust slowly faded, showing Itsura's bloodshot eyes staring right into Kevin's soul. "That girl is a threat to our organisation like you, so she will be disposed of!"
Kevin's eyes widened in shock, noticing the hundreds of unaware citizens walking across the street. If he caused a scene in the center, then people would be prone to getting hurt. "Are you sure you want to use that amount of firepower!?" a voice chimed inside his head. "Your heart is already off-tune, don't make it worse for yourself!"
Kevin noticed the voice almost instantly, but shook it off as he gave Itsura the same glance back. Quickly, he pushed himself back to another building, aiming himself for the outskirts of the city. "Tell me what you're hiding, Itsura of LUO!" he said angrily, the fire rippling across Kevin's body.
"I'll tell you when you're about to die!" he joked, noticing that Kevin was looking at his sharp fingernails. Itsura looked back at Kevin, but was surprised to see that the purple glow inside him had since faded, and the massive ember of fire continued to grow with each passing second. Both Kevin and Itsura pressed off of the buildings at the same time, and were prepared to strike each other with every move they had in their arsenal.
Volume 12, Chapter 11 - Rematch - Kevin and Itsura
Kevin looked at the sharp blades on Itsura's hands, watching as he spat a purple substance on each of them. "I've coated these blades with poison! Just one touch can immobilize you and assure me victory!" He looked back down at the city once again, noticing as the people that were walking across the streets were beginning to notice what was happening in the sky. With his fire, Kevin pressed off of the building and flew straight out of the city, making sure he wouldn't have to battle anywhere close to the citizens of ART.
Itsura looked at the giant fireball slowly pacing away from the city, and impaled himself with his own claws. "Trying to avoid damage to the city, huh? That's a really dumb move, knowing we have control over the worldwide press!" Itsura aimed in the complete opposite direction of where Kevin had expected, his interest changing from his opponent to the laboratory. Kevin threw his head back as he noticed the sudden change of plans, pressing straight off the air and grasping Itsura's head with his hands to stop him from approaching the lab.
Both Kevin and Itsura disappeared straight from the face of the city, teleporting across the island to a random cave.
Kevin lifted his hand to his mouth, still out of breath from sensing Itsura's presence seconds before he attacked. "Gravitational Teleportation came in clutch," he thought to himself, his eyesight now constantly changing from good to bad. "Looks like all those hero-like moves burnt you out before the fight even started!" his opponent slandered, looking around the cave closely. "An enclosed space is all I need, but I was expecting something more stable than a cave," Kevin muttered, closely scouting his body for any cuts Itsura gave him.
After about a minute of silence between them, Kevin slammed his hand on the rocks of the cave, causing a cut to form on his hand. He was thinking about the month of training he had endured following his return from the Land Of Trila, remembering all the people he had saved in that singular time frame. "I'm going to make sure LUO collapses, and that's a promise!" Itsura chuckled, dashing right towards Kevin with his poison-covered blades. He leaped straight into the sky, holding his claws straight up to the sky and preparing to slash right through Kevin's entire body. "My boss is going to be extremely proud of me for this!"
Kevin slowly shifted his body to the left of where Itsura was attacking, his right fist aiming straight for his chest. Itsura looked down at him, noticing where he was fully focused.
"Gravitational Punch!"
Itsura crashed into the ceiling of the cave, creating a giant cloud of dust that blew gusts of wind across the entire cave. "I'm not going to be able to see him with all this dust!" he thought. "I can't use Gravitational Teleportation, so I'm just going to have to make do with the techniques I already have in my arsenal!"
Kevin heard the movement of Itsura within the cave becoming louder and louder as he approached. "You've really gotten weaker since Hamila, haven't you!?" he slandered.
Kevin disappeared from Itsura's range and teleported back to where the blood he had extracted with the rock, then snapped his fingers.
Following Kevin's snap, Itsura's age was decreased from 22 (his current age) back to 11 years old, and the claws on his fingers slowly faded away with the older version of himself. "What the hell!?" he screamed, looking at his significantly smaller hands. "Why the hell am I a little kid again!?"
Kevin snapped once again, causing Itsura to get punched in the face by an external force. "Area Control," he told Itsura. "When my blood is smeared across a certain area you're around, I have full control over what happens to you." Itsura looked straight down at the rock that was covered with Kevin's blood, and noticed he was a few steps away from where he last was.
