Gu Xiaoer returned to the room, and after a while, she heard the sound of Han Luoli leaving.
Not long after, her phone rang.
Gu Xiaoer looked at the incoming call display on the phone screen; it was Wen Zhiyan.
Why is she calling again?
"Hello?" Gu Xiaoer answered reluctantly.
Wen Zhiyan's gentle voice came from the other end, as if chatting: "Xiao Er, thank you so much for your help. After your Uncle Han woke up, I told him about this, and he's been praising you!"
The girl frowned; whether these words were true or false was still up for consideration. Would Wen Zhiyan call just to tell her this?
"Aunt Han, just say what you have to say." Enough with the flattery already.
Wen Zhiyan coughed awkwardly: "Xiao Er, have you delivered the project book?"
"Aunt Han, is there some misunderstanding?" Gu Xiaoer instantly frowned, speaking with displeasure.
