In the bedroom, Jiang Muwan sat on the sofa, her back propped up by a cushion, while Yu Se applied a hot towel to the back of her hand, the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law occasionally exchanging words.
Some talk of household trivia, perhaps odd and amusing tales.
But perhaps out of good upbringing, both of them rarely gossiped about others in their conversations.
But today, Yu Se took the initiative to mention the Jiang Family.
Upon first hearing the name Jiang Lin, the person twisting the hot towel in the bathroom stopped their movements.
"He went to see you?" Jiang Muwan thought that seeking out Yu Se was something Jiang Lin would do, ready to do anything to carve out a path for himself.
On this matter, Yu Se seemed not inclined to hide anything and nodded, "He did come to see me, said a few things, but I thought I should ask you first, so I didn't agree."
Muwan sat up straighter upon hearing this and looked at Yu Se, "What did he say?"
