Hua Xiaomo said a great deal. She felt incredibly heavy-hearted at that moment, as she truly didn't want to treat him with such an attitude. However, she knew that if she didn't clarify many of the issues, she would continue stubbornly down a path leading only to increased pain and trouble for them both. What was the point of that? She didn't want him to experience such intense pain. She hoped he could be happy, follow his own desires, and find more joy in doing so.
