Early the next day, just as dawn was breaking, Fourth Master and Ye Zao set off.
It was cold in the morning, so the children had no intention of being taken to the mountains.
Therefore, they left the servants to look after the children and went up the mountain themselves.
Initially, they were carried in sedans, but once they reached the higher points, the sedan was impractical.
So, they started walking.
Fourth Master held Ye Zao's hand and adjusted her cloak: "Walk slowly, don't rush, if you go too fast, you'll get tired out."
"Okay," Ye Zao nodded, squeezing Fourth Master's fingers.
The two of them slowly climbed up from halfway up the mountain. Actually, they could already see the entire mountain was covered with red leaves. Just then the fog rose, making the red leaves even more beautiful.
"Is it beautiful?" Fourth Master saw her looking around and asked with a smile, "When I was young and came here, it was around this time too. You're lucky to catch it."
