"Uncle De, what's wrong?" Xu Diandian hurriedly poured a cup of tea before looking at Xu De with suspicion.
"Well... uh... it's just..." Xu De hemmed and hawed awkwardly for a moment. "Chu Yunfeng is downstairs. He says he wants to take you out to dinner."
"Chu Yunfeng?" Qin Lin, who had been paying little attention, suddenly frowned at the name and shot a quizzical look at Xu Diandian.
"He's a patient I treated a few days ago, and he's so annoying," Xu Diandian explained at once, her brow furrowed. "After I treated him, he kept insisting on taking me to dinner to thank me. Even after I refused, he still has the nerve to come by every day. I can't get rid of him."
"I already made it perfectly clear to him: he was the patient, and I was the doctor. He came for treatment and paid the fee, which concluded our transaction fairly. I'm not going to have dinner with him." Xu Diandian sounded utterly helpless. "But he just won't leave. He just keeps pestering me."
