🕷️ Montage Opening: Six Months of Heroism
[Scene 1 - Month 1: Lost Cat Rescue]
Spider-Man dangles upside-down from a tree branch, coaxing a terrified calico cat down from the upper branches.
SPIDER-MAN (softly):
"Hey there, little guy. I know heights are scary, but I've got you."
The cat hisses but doesn't run. Slowly, carefully, Spider-Man reaches out and gently scoops the cat into his arms.
Below, an elderly woman watches with tears in her eyes.
ELDERLY WOMAN:
"Thank you! Thank you so much! That's Mr. Whiskers—he's been stuck up there for two days!"
Spider-Man lands gracefully, handing the cat over.
SPIDER-MAN:
"All in a day's work, ma'am. Keep an eye on Mr. Whiskers, okay? He's an adventurous one."
As he swings away, he thinks:
SPIDER-MAN (thinking):
Peter Parker would've made a joke about cats and spider-sense. I'm getting there. Slowly.
[Scene 2 - Month 2: Helping an Elderly Man]
Spider-Man spots an elderly man struggling with grocery bags on a steep hill. Without hesitation, he swings down.
SPIDER-MAN:
"Need a hand?"
ELDERLY MAN (startled):
"Spider-Man! I—yes, actually. These bags are heavier than I thought."
Spider-Man effortlessly carries all six bags in one hand while walking beside the man.
SPIDER-MAN:
"Where are we headed?"
ELDERLY MAN:
"Just up the block. You know, my grandson talks about you all the time. Says you're a real hero."
SPIDER-MAN (smiling beneath his mask):
"Tell your grandson I said thanks. And that he should eat his vegetables."
The old man laughs.
As Spider-Man leaves, he thinks:
SPIDER-MAN (thinking):
What would Peter do? He'd make people smile. He'd make them feel safe. That's what this is about.
[Scene 3 - Month 3: Stopping a Mugging]
A woman is cornered in an alley by two thugs. One has a knife.
THUG 1:
"Just hand over your purse and nobody gets—"
A web line yanks the knife away. Spider-Man drops down between the woman and the thugs.
SPIDER-MAN:
"You know, there are easier ways to make money. Like… getting a job?"
THUG 2:
"It's Spider-Man! Run!"
Spider-Man webs their legs together. They fall flat on their faces.
SPIDER-MAN:
"Not fast enough, fellas."
He helps the woman up, making sure she's okay, then webs the thugs to a lamppost for the police.
SPIDER-MAN (thinking as he swings away):
Peter would've quipped more. Made it less scary for her. I need to work on that.
[Scene 4 - Month 4: Building Fire]
A small apartment building is on fire. Firefighters are working, but a child is trapped on the third floor.
Spider-Man doesn't hesitate. He swings through the smoke-filled window, finds the child huddled in a corner, and wraps them in his arms.
SPIDER-MAN:
"I've got you. Close your eyes, okay?"
He swings out through the window, landing safely on the street. Paramedics rush forward to take the child.
The crowd erupts in cheers.
CROWD MEMBER:
"Spider-Man saved them!"
ANOTHER VOICE:
"He's a real hero!"
Spider-Man waves briefly, then swings away before the media can arrive.
SPIDER-MAN (thinking):
Peter always said: with great power comes great responsibility. I get it now. Really get it.
🛠️ Scene: Melissa's Workshop – Evening
Andrew sits on a stool in Melissa's makeshift workshop (part of her apartment converted into a tech lab). She's surrounded by holographic displays, fabric samples, and mechanical components.
MELISSA (excited):
"Okay, so I've been working on this for three months. And I think I finally cracked it."
She pulls a sheet off a mannequin, revealing a sleek new suit. The design is unmistakably Spider-Man, but upgraded. The classic red and blue, but with white spider emblems on the chest and back. Advanced material. Sleek, functional, beautiful.

ANDREW (stunned):
"Melissa… this is incredible."
MELISSA:
"It's made from a carbon-polymer weave. Stronger than your old suit, more flexible, and it breathes better. Plus, I integrated micro-sensors that connect to your web-shooters. They'll give you real-time feedback on web tensile strength and fluid levels."
She taps the spider emblem on the chest.
MELISSA (cont'd):
"This is a communications hub. You can talk to me directly through it. And if you're ever in serious danger, it'll send an automatic distress signal."
ANDREW:
"You built all this?"
MELISSA (grinning):
"With some help from my uncle's company resources. Don't worry—I kept your identity secret. Told him it was a theoretical design project."
Andrew stands up and runs his hand over the suit. The material is smooth, almost liquid in texture.
ANDREW:
"It's perfect. Thank you."
MELISSA:
"Try it on. I want to make sure the fit is right."
🕸️ Scene: Rooftop – Night
Spider-Man stands on a rooftop in his new suit, testing the mobility. He moves through a series of flips, jumps, and web-swings. The suit responds perfectly—lighter, more responsive.
SPIDER-MAN (via comms to Melissa):
"This is amazing! I feel like I can move twice as fast."
MELISSA (via comms, laughing):
"That's the idea. How are the web-shooters?"
SPIDER-MAN:
"Perfect. The feedback system is genius. I can actually feel when I'm running low on fluid."
He swings between buildings with renewed confidence, the new suit making everything smoother, faster, better.
SPIDER-MAN (thinking):
Peter would've loved this. A suit designed by someone who actually cares. Someone who wants me to come home safe.
I'm lucky. Really lucky.
📚 Scene: Midoriya Household – Kitchen – Morning
Inko is making breakfast when Andrew comes downstairs with a backpack full of textbooks.
INKO:
"You're up early. More online classes today?"
ANDREW:
"Yeah. I'm taking advanced engineering courses. Figured it'd help with… future prospects."
It's not entirely a lie. He is taking online courses—it's just that they're a convenient cover for his Spider-Man activities. Classes he can pause, assignments he can do at odd hours, flexible schedules.
IZUKU (walking in):
"You've been doing those for months now. Are you planning to skip regular high school?"
ANDREW:
"Maybe. I'm just keeping my options open."
Izuku studies his brother carefully. Andrew looks healthier than he did six months ago. Less exhausted. More confident.
IZUKU (thinking):
He's different. Happier, maybe. But still… there's something he's not telling me.
🌸 Scene: Park Bench – Afternoon
Andrew sits on a park bench, waiting. A familiar figure approaches—blonde hair in twin buns, bright eyes, genuine smile.
Himiko Toga.
TOGA (sitting down):
"Hey, Andrew."
ANDREW:
"Toga. How's it going?"
TOGA:
"Good. Really good, actually. I got into UA. Hero course."
Andrew's face lights up with genuine pride.
ANDREW:
"That's amazing! I knew you could do it."
TOGA:
"I couldn't have done it without you. Without… Spider-Man."
She says the name quietly, glancing around to make sure no one's listening.
ANDREW:
"You did the hard work. I just reminded you that you had a choice."
TOGA:
"Still. I wanted to say thank you. And to tell you that I'm going to be a real hero. The kind that saves people. The kind that makes a difference."
ANDREW:
"You already are."
They sit in comfortable silence for a moment.
TOGA:
"Are you ever going to go legit? Apply to a hero school?"
ANDREW (hesitating):
"I don't know. Maybe. For now, I'm doing what I can. Helping where I can."
TOGA:
"Well, when you do decide to go official… I'll be there. To support you. Like you supported me."
She stands up, offering him a small wave.
TOGA (cont'd):
"See you around, Spider-Man."
She walks away, and Andrew watches her go with quiet satisfaction.
ANDREW (thinking):
One person changed. One life saved. Peter would be proud.
📺 Scene: News Broadcast – Six Months In
NEWSCASTER:
"Spider-Man's presence in Tokyo has had a measurable impact on crime rates. Over the past six months, violent crime in his patrol areas has dropped by 18%. Citizens report feeling safer, and many consider him a true hero—despite his vigilante status."
On-screen, footage plays: Spider-Man helping people, stopping crimes, protecting civilians.
NEWSCASTER (cont'd):
"Public opinion polls show that 67% of Tokyo residents view Spider-Man favorably, with many calling for him to be officially recognized as a hero. The Hero Commission has yet to comment."
🏠Scene: Andrew's Room – Night Before UA Entrance Exam
Andrew sits at his desk, looking at a calendar. Tomorrow is the UA entrance exam. Izuku has been training obsessively, preparing for his shot.
Andrew won't be taking the exam. Not yet. He's chosen his path—vigilantism, operating in the shadows, helping where the system can't or won't.
But part of him wonders.
ANDREW (thinking):
What would Peter do? Would he go legit? Work within the system?
Or would he keep doing what I'm doing—helping people outside the rules, being the hero nobody asked for but everyone needs?
He looks at his new suit, hanging in his closet. The PS4 design. Melissa's work. A symbol of everything he's become.
ANDREW (cont'd, thinking):
I'm not Peter Parker. I'm Andrew Midoriya. And I'm going to do this my way.
For now, that means staying in the shadows. Being the hero nobody knows. Protecting people who'll never know my name.
But one day… maybe one day I'll step into the light.
He closes his notebook and heads to bed, knowing that tomorrow will change everything—not for him, but for his brother.
And when the time comes, Andrew will be there. In the shadows. Watching. Protecting.
Because that's what Spider-Man does.
