"FIRE DRAGON'S SWORD HORN!" Natsu is back in the fight and his attack takes the creature on the back of the knee forcing it down. Mirajane swooping in and dealing an uppercut that makes the air rattle.
"Get back!!" Both mages listen and get back before several Gaster Blasters appear above it and open fire.
"RAHHH!! The monster roars as the beams bore into it and it raises it's arm to fire off a barrage of shots that shatter my Blasters.
"Let's take a little off the top ebi!" Cancer suddenly lunges in, scissors cutting away at the demon and leaving gouges in it's armor. Albedo joining in the attack and swinging her ax, taking the unbroken horn off the beast and Shalltear dives in to grab it and ram it into the creature's side; burying the bone deep. A raised arm is poised to slam into her but I have two Gaster Blasters bite down and fire; reducing the limb to a hunk of burnt meat and scorched bone.
"Alright everyone, keep it up! More restraints rise and then the creature's canon starts to glow brighter; lines of energy forming along it's armor as well.
"Guys I don't think that's a good thing for us." Lucy calls out and everyone has to agree given it still manages to tear it's way out of it's restraints with the injuries it has.

We don't wait to find out what the creature is trying to do, we don't give it a second to try and enact whatever it's trying to do. We just throw whatever spells we can at it; Shalltear using her holy magic, Natsu pushing a larger roar then I've ever seen from him, bullets of water firing like a machine gun, Extinction Stream from Mirajane and Elemental Gaster Blasters engulf the monster and it's screams ring out.
We don't stop firing till the screaming is cut off for a minute and then Albedo and Cancer dive in and carve into the body for good measure. We all take a second to breath heavily as the corpse stays a corpse.

"Well what are we waiting for, the bastard at the top is still standing.!" Mirajane barks out as she stretches out and examines her new form. I still take a second to check on her, putting my hand on her shoulder and looking her over.
"How you feeling?" Mirajane smirks at me and practically purrs her answer.
"Fantastic, now lets go get our girl back."

The teams were split up based on need; Natsu and Juvia was in charge of destruction with Lucy and the Pleiades backing him up while Millianna and Erza's other friends helped them get to vital areas. Shalltear, Albedo, and Ushi would be accompanying Mirajane and myself; the former two mostly because I had a plan for them that would take them out of the fight while Ushi could get Erza out quickly if need be.
With a quick promise between out groups to stay safe and to deck the Jellal once for everyone we split up; my group heading up, Natsu's heading down. I wasn't sure what to expect after the asset Tartaros had supplied Jellal but no one else got in our way. If I had to guess the other big change had been Jellal deciding to hold Erza at the top of the tower rather then the cells in the basement.
Mirajane floated above the ground in her new form; clearly slower then Satan Soul but if the arm was anything to go by her firepower would be much more intense. The tension grows as we go up step by step; the unspoken worry of what condition Erza might be haunting us with each step.
"DIE JELLAL!!" A load come off my back at that cry of rage as we break through the final door and find Erza trying to bury her sword in Jellal. Their focus on each other so intense neither seems to notice us.

"You would really kill me Erza, your old.."
"You are my past; one I have worked to overcome. I have new people in my heart that mean a great deal more to me. People I have to get back to and if I need to cleave your head from your shoulders then so be it; your sins demand it anyway."
"Ahh, you're going to make me blush Erza." Erza stops and shoots one eye over to us, a small smile coming onto her face as she takes us in and the fact Mirajane is wielding her magic once more.
"Roxas, Mirajane are the the others…" I shoot her a smile and a Gaster Blaster at Jellal when he makes move towards her; he dodges easily but it keeps him back from her.
"They're fine; we got your friends to get their heads on straight and they're letting Natsu know where to go wild." As if he's listening in the tower shakes and I shoot Jellal a nasty smirk. "I don't think your grand plan is going to work out once Natsu reduces this place to rubble."
"HEHEHEHAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU THINK THIS IS ENOUGH TO STOP ME! I'll plow right through you and go put that lizard and those traitors down; I might have to break a few limbs but now I have two potential sacrifices."

Slipping a new loadout in; dismissing Albedo and Shalltear as I do so I give I through off my jacket and shirt. United We Stand letting me call upon the power of the two floor guardians and I'm just itching to put it to use.

"DEMON GATTLING!!" Mirajane moves first; her gun spinning up and releasing dozens of magical bullets that raced toward Jellal; the smug bastard smirking as a wall of darkness rises up with but a gesture and absorbs the attack. Erza dashes forward though; sword little more then a blur as she slices the wall in two.
"What?!" I'm on him in a second; Shalltear and Albedo's power coursing through me as I aim to put my fist through his skull.
"Tch." Jellal doesn't even act scard, a cry of Metor leaving his lips and a golden aura surrounding him as he dodges out of the way. His speed kicking up to a whole new level and if I remember right his strength does as well but I see it as a win; we made him use something other then his darkness magic.
Now lets see just how a Floor Guardian's strenght matches the heavens.
I chase him; Ushi and Erza also able to keep up with him and forcing him on the defensive least he taste their blades. Mirajane taking up the long-range support role with her new form.
It's not easy, Jellal isn't an idiot and he shows off his talent with the use of his darkness magic to force us to be careful least we get impaled on dark spikes or grabbed by the dark hands.
Mirajane is rusty; there's no denying it but she's not a novice and she's more then capable of working out where to aim to match Jellal's path and eventually he has to choose to stop moving or run right into Mirajane. He chooses to stop and we meet each other in a fisticuffs.
Our skill is about even; neither of us are bad but we're not winning any competitions purely on it. Still I'm landing more blows as the exchange drags on and as we keep going I can tell I have better stats.
"You fucked with the wrong Guild buddy and I've got a lot of beating to give you on behalf of those that can't be here." Jellal can't give a response as Erza lands a blow to his side that has him cry out in pain as her blade bites into his flesh and Mirajane follows up with a blasting him back into a wall.
"No… I WON'T ALLOW THIS!! I WILL BRING ABOUT THE PROMISED WORLD!! I AM THE ONE CHOSEN TO BRING PEACE TO THIS LAND AND I WILL NOT FAIL!!"

The smell of smoke is starting to waft up, the rumbling and shaking picking up and I can see Jellal getting more nervous. I'm not real sure of how good a look the council is getting at the tower but if they can see what Natsu's up to they might just stop from firing the cannon.
If I wasn't so focused on cratering this prick's head I'd probably wonder a bit more on how that will affect the council but that's a future problem. Right now I'm dodging the much inferior Pleiades Jellal is tossing around at us; Mirajane getting into a flying shoot oout with him while I take the chance to check on Erza.
"How are you feeling?"
"Better, that owl creep's magic was disgusting and when he spat me out they sprayed something in my face that clouded my mind for a bit but I managed to power through it. Should we be worried about anyone showing up to help him?"
"I think we got them all but Mirajane got that form from some demon Tartaros sent to help him."
"I shouldn't be surprised one of the big three dark guild sent aid but still… the rest can wait for later let's get back in the fight." I nod at Erza's statement and make to get back in the fight when the tower starts to shake once more but in a much more sustained way and light starts to appear outside even with the sun long set.
"Hah!! They finally did it; my victory is at hand."
"Shit; MIRAJANE GET OVER HERE!!" Mirajane dives over and I surround us with Gaster Blasters right before the Etherion crashes down. I'm actually glad Natsu failed because without the tower's protection there was no way we'd have survived the weapon that was half the reason Alvarez backed off.
When the shaking stops and the I blink the spots out of my eyes the tower is now crystal and two Jellal's stand before us.
"Siegrain!?" Erza cries out in shock as both 'men' shoot a smirk at her and then start speaking in unison.
"Yes, although he's not my twin brother. No Siegrain was always a thought projection I used to twist the council to my whims and keep an eye on you. And now that said ruse is done I have access to my full power again. Now be a good dear and DIE FOR ME!!"

The second 'Siegrain' disappears is the second this fight ramps up into a whole new level of difficulty. Jellal's power really does leap when he's no longer having to project Siegrain.
The shots of light are faster and glow even brighter with power, collisions with Mirajane's own shots ending in his favor more often then not. Erza's blade can no longer easily cut into him; the cloak of energy surrounding him acting as armor and leaving him far more cocky but the his right to be confidence is hard to deny when he zips through a practical maze of Gaster Blasters to appear in front of me; fist swinging at me and slamming into my arm as I guard my vitals. I feel a slight burn for a few seconds as the light burns and then I'm shot back into the wall. Jellal laughing madly as I slide down to the ground.
"Ah it's been so long since I got to use my full power. I forgot how amazing it is; and now I can give you all my full focus.." He stops hand lashing out to grab Mirajane's own as she rushes him in a burst of speed cloaked in her own dark energy while the mechanical parts of her new form glow red along the seams. Her face one of surprise as he easily catches her attack and then slams her into the ground before spinning and throwing her aside.
".. as I said with my full focus I can fully savor this moment. I will beat you down and let you watch as Erza is broken down and molded anew into Zeref's new vessal. You can be his first victims."
"You don't get to touch them!" Erza screams as she charges at him from behind and Jellal reacts quickly swinging around and slicing at her with his own sword of light. Erza reacts quick enough to avoid being slice open, bouncing back on her heels and leaning back but it's not enough to avoid everything and her bandages flutter to the floor in pieces. A scowl full of hate and anger appearing on her face as she's exposed to Jellal; I'm sure it mirrored on mine.
Jellal though; I almost laugh at the look on his face. Surprise, lust, and hesitation as though he doesn't know how to react and the aura around him flickers. Looks like cult boy is completely out of his depth at a pair of tits on display, I'd judge less in other circumstances but screw him. I'll just take the opening he gives me.
Jellal turns around just in time for the blow to slam into his arm right as his Meteor spell is down, a satisfying crack echoing out and Jellal screams as his arm snaps. I eat a blast of light to the gut for it but my durability means it's more sucker punch then anything else and Jellal takes the chance to pull back, narrowly avoiding a slash at his spine from Erza.

You'd think a broken arm would slow a guy down and in a way it does because he now has to improvise or slow down for some of his spells that require gestures. However all the other things you'd thank that would slow him down, pain, worry, etc, yeah he's a crazy cultist fully willing to ignore those and power through to 'revive' his god. If anything the damage to his arm makes him more willing to damage the room around us as his blasts are power up and hit a lot harder as we all find out.
Attacking becomes a fleeting thought in the face of dodging or survival and while we're not helpless: Erza cutting through attacks, Mirajane countering or zipping around many, my Gaster Blaster taking the hits for me, we're getting whittled away bit by bit. Mirajane's new limbs getting chipped, welts and burns along Erza's body and I'm sure I'm the same even with Shalltear and Albedo's stats boosting mine; it certainly feels like it.
"AHHH!!"
"MIRA!!" Both Erza and I cry out as we dash to catch Mirajane as she plummets with one wing singed with a hole through it. Jellal laughing as a massive ball of energy forms above his raised hand.
"YES SCURRY LIKE WORMS!! KEEP UP THIS FUTILE STRUGGLE IT WILL MAKE THIS ALL THE MORE SATISFYING!!" He launches the attack towards us and I pull up some Blasters to act as shields, hoping they can take the brunt of the attack.
"RAAHHHHHH!!!!!" A pillar of fire erupts from the ground between us and the attack, the flames consuming the light itself as they clash. A form appear in the center of the pillar and lands on the ground.
"Seriously; I figured you guys would be done with him by now."
"Natsu!" Erza cries out and he grins at her.
"Hehe Lucy said it was a bad idea but I figured eating those crystals had to help right. Don't worry about the others their on the boat but I figured someone had to come check on you guys."
"No.. it can't be…" Jellal's shock is a wholesome balm after the beatdown he just gave us. Natsu's kindness melting away into a glare as he turns to look at the man behind this all.
"So you're the one who hurt my friends huh, hope you're ready to burn."

Dragon Force is OP, there is no other way to say it. What else is there to say as Natsu dismantles Jellal like it's nothing; his fires eating away at his attacks, melting the walls and turning the room into an oven; as much as we want to we need to stay back to not suddenly become spontaneously dehydrated and it lets us check over Mirajane who swears she'll be fine but a hole in her body anywhere has me on edge.
"Jeez, how is Natsu doing this." Mirajane is the one to ask and I answer.
"I read about this, I don't know the exact mechanics but this is Dragon Force. A form where they are said to truly be as strong as the creatures their magic is designed after." And getting between a dragon and it's prey did not sound like a good idea; thankfully I have other options.
"You might have gotten stronger but it's not enough.. GAH!!" Jellal's path is blocked by a Blaster; forcing him to dodge right into Natsu's knee. The blow sends the blue hair psycho into the wall but he bounces back and starts moving around but now I've got multiple Blasters out, strafing him, getting in his way, or taking blows for Natsu to let the Fire Dragon Slayer dish out the pain as the scales continue to spread across his face and his fangs grow sharper Natsu's.
"Tch, stupid things! Why won't you all just lay down and die, I will bring about an end to the suffering of this world, a world of peace and freedom will be mine!!" His focus fully on us, eyes practically bulging in madness he doesn't react in time when I form two blasters already posed to bite on his arms.
"GAHHH!!" I put everything I can into enforcing the Blasters, making sure that enhancement spell of his can't stop their fangs from sinking into his flesh. Natsu practically bursting into existence below Jellal with a flash of flames and a Roar that sends Jellal flying into the air, one arm left behind in the grip of a Blaster. Flames erupt from his feet and our pink-haired compatriot shoots into the air to stop right above Jellal.
"You want a world of freedom! Don't make me laugh; any world built on slavery, on the suffering you caused isn't one of freedom at all! And you're still just a slave! TO THIS VISION! TO THIS TOWER!! IF YOU WANT THE WORLD TO HAVE TRUE FREEDOM THEN FIND IT YOURSELF!! FIRE DRAGON'S SWORD HORN!!" Natsu rushes forward, flames in the shape of a dragon, and slams into Jellal. The both of them crashing down; right before they hit the ground Natsu changes his stance and grips Jellal by the leg with a savage grin.
"HEY ROXAS! I AIN'T GOING TO MAKE YOU A LIAR AM I!!" With a swing he throws Jellal at me with a blast of fire to the back for extra impact and I shoot Natsu a grin.
"Thanks Natsu!! GUARDIAN IMPACT!!" All of Albedo and Shalltear's strenght in this blow; everything put into it. All the anger and hate, all the desire to see him fall.
"GAHHH!!" It feels so good to bury my fist into his face and watch it warp around it.
As Jellal's body bounces away and falls down the hole Natsu made on his way up, and judging from the fact I don't hear the Jellal hit the ground he must have went up more floors then I thought, I breathe a sigh of relief as a notification confirms he won't just pop back up.

I shove result and ideas it's giving me into the back of my mind as the tower starts to shake around us and then the floor starts to crack and beams of energy begin erupting from the ground/
"What's… What's happening?" Natsu asks as he takes a knee, exhaustion on his face as the scales vanish and I slip hoist him up and help support him as we start avoiding what remained of the ceiling that was now collapsing. Mirajane is the one to answer, similarly supported by Erza in her own body.
"The Ethernano, it's not meant to be in one place too long. If this keeps up…" Boom and quite frankly none of us could probably make a guess at just how far the explosion will reach.
"Okay so we get out of here and …"
"No." Erza cuts me off and then Mirajane cries out as she's tossed my way. I manage to catch her and see Erza give me a smile before running towards a large crystal that radiates an ominous aura.
"ERZA!!" All three of us cry and I make to move after her but floor spilts between our group and her and I have to wonder if the tower is alive.
"Jellal said the tower's power would be infused into me when I was sacrificed; If I take it into me I might be able to keep it from exploding or at least lessen it. You all need to get clear though; I LOVE YOU!!!" With that declaration Erza presses her hand against the crystal and starts screaming as it pulls her in.
"Mirajane, Natsu if the two of you work together do you think you'd be able to get down."
"Fuck you, I can already tell what you're thinking and I'm not letting you do it alone."
"Y..yeah, Fairy Tail sticks together." I don't bother trying to disude them as every second is precious and so I the three of us start rushing toward Erza's screaming form, her body already halfway inside the crystal. Natsu managing to push out some flame from his feet to give us a boost and we manage to grab Erza's left hand right before it's absorbed the three of us holding on tight as we're pulled inside.

The pain is … intense and I've still got United We Stand running; it's not just a physical pain. It's in my very soul and I'm not being edgy when I say that I'm being very literal; the nature of this can't be just physical or mental. I can see Erza staring at us in shock but don't let her react further before pulling her towards us. Mirajane and Natsu wrapping their arms around her and the three of us pulling her into an embrace and the pain lightens a little. We all pull back slightly after a few seconds look at each other. I tilt my chin up and they all nod; my idea clear. Rather then try and force the energy dormant we push it up and into the sky.
Forcing my magic out to connect with the Ethernano around us and try to impose my will upon it and as I do so I feel connections form with my guildmates.

When I shot back into consciousness it was on the boat we had previously captured if the sails I can see are to go by.; Lucy looking down on me in concern …. Oh wow everything hurts right now. Not in an agony with every twitch level at least but moving isn't fun.
"H..hey Starshine… are the others…" Lucy grips my hand and I manage to shake the cobwebs enough to realize I'm on her lap.
"Yeah, we fished you all out of the water and we're getting close to the casino. Natsu keeps vomiting this fluid that's worrisome but other then that you all just seemed exhausted."
"Th..that's good. I'm going to just enjoy the bedding and rest though."
"Sure.. sweet dreams Roxas."

They say Akane Resort's atmosphere is good for healing a tired body, mind, and soul in their advertisements. Given how quickly the four of us go from bedridden to moving around I'm willing to believe it. Quite frankly between the fights, the amount of magic we were throwing around, and the fact we nearly drowned we should be bed-ridden right now; now none of us were going to be picking fights but we could move about.
Sadly that meant dealing with Magic Knights and Council Investigators but they were quick and prompt. We managed to … selectively answer … certain questions well enough that no one tries to haul in Millianna and the others as they're 'victims of mental magic of some dark persuasion'. I think the council is happy to latch onto anything that might be used to save their asses but we'll see how that goes.
"Say ahh.." Virgo states; holding out a lightly steaming spoon to me; Erza and Mirajane getting similar treatment from Pleiades from their position on the bed. We might be able to move but everyone else isn't letting us; I have Yuri focused on Natsu actually so that he doesn't try to do something he shouldn't.
"Hmm, thank you Lupus."
"You as well CZ." Lupus smiles at the thanks and CZ nods and keep feeding the girls. Lucy looks up from her spot on the chair where she's reading a book and looks us over.
"Are you all sure you're okay because … you guys said you fused with the tower… you all could have died." Seeing the tears start to build up in her eyes I get up and move over to pull her into a hug, Erza and Mirajane following soon after and wrapping her up.
"Hey; don't worry. We're here and we're alright."
"I… I know I can't expect to just be as strong as you but I.. I could barely do anything. I had to run when things went to shit and leave you guys to … to.." Our hug tightens as she starts to cry harder.
"Lucy, Juvia told us that you were to one to keep things calm and keep Erza's friends from running back inside. If you hadn't done that they would be dead."
"Roxas is right Lucy and I can't… I can't begin to describe how thankful I am to you for making sure they lived… If anything happened to them after they finally free .. if I lost them again…" Erza doesn't say anymore but her grip tightens.
"Erza ribs!" That has her grip lessen and we all take a second to chuckle and Mirajane speaks up.
"Look Lucy, you're the best you that you can be right now and you're going to be amazing. Just .. just don't be afraid to ask for help or try to do something beyond you right now." Lucy nods at that and we let the hug continue for the time before we disperse.

"What the heck are you thinking?!" Erza is laying into the Simon, Sho, Wally and Millianna. The four of them having tried to take the boat we confiscated from the dark mages to sail off… which failed for two reasons. One is I had Entoma keep an eye on them with her friends to make sure they didn't do exactly this because this is a real world where cult kids do not handle the real world well and two) this boat needs more then four people to properly use when you don't have a water mage that can help you cheat.
"Look Erza it's not that we don't want to stay but…" Millianna starts off and Sho takes over when he quails under the redhead's glare.
"But we got to make our own way in the world right sis? Besides wouldn't it just make things uncomfortable after what we did?"
"Mirajane and I fought everyday over the stupidest things! I'm in a relationship with her now and you were mainpulated and lied to! I don't care about that!"
"It's not just that though Erza.." Simon interrupts, and props to the man he was taking Erza's taken status well, "You remember my sister, you might have kept her out of those monster's hands but I need to know what happened to her and Wally's brother might still be alive." Erza flinches at that and looks like she's trying to come up with a good response.

Erza is clearly trying to come up with a response but is struggling to come up with something that she could say and I can see her start to give but screw that. One of the worst ideas of the series was sending the cult kids out into the world and even if the smartest of them was alive. So I step in and decide list several of the problems I can think of.
"Right how many Jewels do you have on you?"
"Umm…"
"Do you know which areas are monitored by which guilds?
"No.."
"How about the faces or emblems of other dark guilds?" That one they can actually name a few but only the bigger ones.
"And I'm sure you have all the important documents that you need to present at various checkpoints between territories." I can practically hear the crickets chirping and even Natsu facepalms before giving his own two cents.
"If you all don't have money an you guys hunt, clean a kill, set up a shelter in the woods?" All perfectly valid questions coming from the boy raised in the wild by his dragon father and who lived on his own for a time and no one can answer positively.
"Right so we just charged a tower filled with dark mages and forbidden magic to save Erza and you all; we're not going to let you kill yourselves wandering around with no idea what to do."
"But we.."
"We are Fairy Tail, the greatest guild in the country with members who go all over the place and would be happy to keep an eye out. We can help your search, provide you a way to make money and get the lay of the land, and even provide a place that if your siblings hear about you searching for them they have a location to seek you out."
"But that still leaves the problem of standing on our own."
"Family helps family and you're Erza's so that makes you ours. I have room to put you up while you get your feet under you and if you're that determined to not accept pure charity then you can work for your keep but if you try to run I will let my familiars hunt you down and drag you back. Trust me you do not want that." Millianna pales and starts signaling at the others who then catch the grins on the faces of said familiars and they start nodding as well.
"Good, now lets all head back to our rooms and rest. We'll head back in the morning and get everything set up. Our Master should be able to help with document issues and what not and we'll go from there." The four of them get up off the sand and Erza pulls them all into a hug.
"I'm proud of you all for wanting to stand on your own but please let me help. We've lost so much time together already." I'm not sure if its the emotions or the cracking bones that have the four of them crying but none of them have a dry eye.

Well the Resort was kind enough to give some rooms to the four future members of Fairy Tail, didn't realize they hadn't gotten their own which probably helped shape their response. While I got that sorted out and made sure we were good to leave the next morning Mirajane had stopped me form heading to my room with a smirk and told me Erza had something for me.

Getting back home was easy thankfully; honestly I half expected something to come up and throw another wrench into everything. Once we got back though we all ended up splitting up; my familiars heading to the house with our luggage to make sure it was tidy (I think they scared the schrodinger servants of the manor into leaving them work somehow) while Erza and Makarov started getting the others set up.
Natsu and Happy went to their house, Natsu still the most off base from swallowing the Ethernano and occasionally tapping at his face where the scales had formed.
Juvia went to catch up with Gajeel who as far as I can tell has slid into Fairy Tail far more smoothly then before; not that there was a high bar there but still it was good to see and Lucy was dragged by Cana and Levy into a girl's event and Mirajane went off with Elfman to talk. Leaving me alone for a bit to go to the park in the center of town and just enjoy the breeze and atmosphere for a few hours before getting some grocery shopping done; barely a half a day and a few days since but the Tower of Heaven was exhausting on so many different levels that it was nice to do something normal. The sun was setting when I got back home and Solution greeted me at the door and took the bags from my hands.
"Ah Master Roxas; Lady Shalltear asked that we pass along her request for your presence in the basement."
"We have a basement?" I honestly didn't realize we did.
"Lady Virgo was apparently a great help in creating it; just down the hall and to the right. There's is a lock on the door so you'll need this." I blink and take the key, note to self keep track of what they all get up to more throughly. I don't think they'll do anything terrible. Going to the door I open it up to find a stone stairway; the stone looking smooth and almost polished as I walk down the stairs. Candles set up on the wall to light the way down; when I hit the bottom I find a sex dungeon, there can be no mistaking it. Shalltear is lounging in a honest to gods throne set up against the far wall. The vampire purring as she leans back with her legs spread and a blindfolded woman lapping at her.
