Chapter 127 - Book 3 - Chapter 67 : Mint leaves and Misunderstandings

 = Sarah POV =

I straightened myself up. I was at least a good two inches taller than her; she wasn't going to intimidate me.

"I'll tell her because this happened on company grounds. You are threatening me and making wild accusations about something that has nothing to do with me," I said, and I started to walk past her.

Amber reached out a hand and placed it on the sink, baring me from walking past her.

"Wouldn't you feel a lot better taking off that sticky cold dress of yours?" Amber said, her other hand already on my shoulder, pulling down my dress.

"Amber, stop," I said, yanking away my hand, but as I did, she scooped me up, plopped me like a doll onto the sink counter, and pulled both my hands behind my back.

"Do you think you can get away with lying to me as if there won't be any consequences? If you don't want to get stripped, tell the truth. What did you and Heather do after we left?" Amber said, pulling my arms back painfully as she leaned in, pinning me to the mirror behind me.

"Ow, Amber, you're hurting me," I gasped, tears brimming in my eyes.

I tried to kick her, but her free hand pushed one of my legs down while she straddled the other leg between her thighs.

"Well, answer me, and I'll release you", Amber snapped, her free hand digging into my thigh.

"Fine, if you must know, Heather was telling me that she hates the fact that you took advantage of her when she was drunk, and she doesn't want to be your semi-friend or whatever it is you told her to be", I snapped.

Amber stood there stunned.

"Really? But she seemed to enjoy it," Amber said, sounding confused,

"Yeah, well, no one likes to be held down against their will and violated. Some of us would like our personal space respected, no matter how much you might want to fuck with them" I said, glaring at her.

Amber immediately released me and pulled me down off the counter.

"Ah…gosh I…I had the wrong idea," Amber said sheepishly.

"No kidding, Dumbass" I exclaimed, shoving Amber and stomping towards the door, rubbing my wrists "I'm reporting all of this to Heather, by the way."

"No, wait, I'm sorry, Sarah," Amber said, but I turned around and glared at her.

"No, "Sorry, Sarah", fuck you. What you did was wrong, and you should be ashamed. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should! Talk to me when you have a shred of remorse in your bones," I snapped and spun around, pulled open the door, and marched out.

I brushed off the bits of mint leaves still clinging to my dress and hurried out of the café. Now I was really glad I didn't take up Heather's offer of a spare room. Where Ms. Jun and Chris would be at her neck, Amber would be at mine! We wouldn't get a night's rest between the three of them!
