Hu Jing stared at him, stunned. After another long moment, she rolled her eyes dramatically.
"Ugh, I hate you!"
With that, Hu Jing plopped back onto the bed and started scrolling through her phone. Seeing that she had gone quiet, Liu Ergou stealthily peered at her phone, but she caught him peeking before he could get a good look.
"Why are you snooping on my phone!" Hu Jing snapped.
Liu Ergou rolled his eyes. "Nonsense! When was I snooping? I was looking fair and square!"
As he spoke, he snatched Hu Jing's phone and gave it a cursory glance. "Hu Jing, I see you're looking through your contacts. Are you planning to call someone?"
