Swallow Li was seen clapping his hands, walking slowly out of the alleyway.
Seeing this, Liu Ergou immediately went to greet him.
"Master, why did you rush in without giving me a heads-up? I didn't even have time to react!"
Hearing Liu Ergou's words, Swallow Li said with a smile, "By the time you reacted, it would've been too late!"
"I've taken care of things over there, so there won't be any more problems. You can go back and rest easy," he continued. "Remember, as long as I'm here, no one will dare to trouble you!"
After saying that, Swallow Li didn't wait for Liu Ergou's response, simply turning and getting back into the van.
Liu Ergou stood rooted to the spot for several minutes before he finally snapped out of it and scrambled back into the driver's seat.
