Yunyi hurriedly got up and pushed the door open. "You're back?"
Huo Jingrui quickly entered the room, his face etched with shame. "Yiyi," he said, "I... I'm back, and I have to trouble you again to accompany me on an adventure."
Yunyi wasn't surprised; after all, he had already been honest about his intentions.
She gently pushed him towards a chair. He had eaten dinner after ten, and it was now nearly one in the morning. "Sit down first," she told him. "I'll go get you a pair of chopsticks."
In the kitchen, she quickly took a few sugar triangles from her storage space and prepared to serve Huo Jingrui the leftover porridge from the pot.
At that moment, Huo Jingrui followed her in.
Yunyi was inwardly glad she had taken the sugar triangles out just in time. "Take these back to the room; we can talk while we eat."
Huo Jingrui knew Yunyi hadn't eaten lunch yet, so he felt it wasn't right to ask her to go out with him immediately. He obediently carried the food back to the room.
