Huo Jingrui finally got his wish. He had known it wouldn't be that smooth. "Alright," he said. "You said it. As soon as you turn eighteen, I'll file the report."
Since she had made up her mind about him, Yunyi didn't play coy. "Okay," she agreed.
They had almost finished their conversation when the mixed-flour mantou and the braised pork were reheated.
Yunyi had already eaten. Not wanting anything greasy so late at night, she only took a small bite before putting down her chopsticks. "You should eat it while it's hot," she urged.
Huo Jingrui didn't hold back. "Tomorrow, I'll get you some daily necessities and bring you some freshly made food."
Yunyi didn't stop him; one shouldn't always dampen someone's enthusiasm.
After dinner, Huo Jingrui cleaned up on his own. The two of them were affectionate for a while before he reluctantly left.
Thinking about starting work the next day, Yunyi practiced her exercises in her space, took a bath, and then went to rest.
