Lucius Damari swirled in his chair absentmindedly. He couldn't stop thinking about the girl who escaped his company.
He couldn't even sleep, not like he could. He had circadian rhythm sleep disorder, insomnia and coupled with his thinking, he couldn't get a wink at night.
"Young Master." Sawyer walked into the office. "The girl is untraceable. I can't find anything about her. She just disappeared."
Sawyer was his brown haired assistant who since yesterday, had been looking for the mysterious girl.
"I don't care." He said coldly. "Find her. I remember she mentioned a name. Maude Vesta."
"That name sounds familiar." Sawyer racked his brain. "That's the woman that owes your family for what her husband did."
"Bring her to me." He ordered. "She never mentioned having a child."
"I'll be sure to bring her here." Sawyer had a puzzled expression. "Young Master, why do you think that she has a child?"
Lucius looked up lazily. "Are you questioning me?"
Sawyer's body froze. "Never, Young Master. I should get going." He darted out of the room like someone who was being chased by a ghost.
'She is someone I can't get out of my head. Sawyer better bring the woman to me.' Lucius thought.
A while later, Sawyer brought a middle aged woman into the office. She had long straight brown hair and blue eyes. The woman seem to be aging elegantly.
Her skin was creamy white and she had no resemblance to the girl he had seen last night.
The girl's hair and part of her face were covered. Sawyer was the one who told him that she had heterochromia and her left eye was green and the other was blue.
"Sawyer, leave us." Sawyer nodded and exited the room.
"Good morning Master Damari, you sent for me." Maude said in an inaudible tone.
