Instantly, birds and crows scattered in panic.
Seeing the devastation, Madara extended one hand.
In the next moment, the destruction became an illusion, and everything seemed restored.
Even animals incinerated by the flames miraculously recovered, looking frightened but unharmed.
"Such power, such power!" Madara murmured, staring at his hands.
After a while, he covered his eyes with one hand, and laughter erupted across the forest.
"Hahaha…"
"Hahahahaha!"
His wild laughter continued for some time before subsiding.
The corners of his mouth curved upward.
"That man truly gave me a grand gift!"
"To repay him, once I master this power…"
"I'll grant him defeat!"
After the rain, the sky cleared, and Madara felt invigorated again.
Though he knew the odds were slim, with this power under equal conditions, he believed he'd never lose, probably, at least!
