Chapter 503: Mythical Beast God Killer Equipment Purgatory Cage Hand, Kizaru Says He Is Crying
Rumble!
Boom!
Endless magma surged relentlessly in the underground molten cave, accompanied by continuous roars.
The entire magma cave trembled violently, as if on the verge of collapse.
In this scorching molten cave, Kizaru observed the roaring magma eruption at the cave's end with a solemn expression.
He pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket, wiped the sweat from his body, and licked his dry lips.
"It seems Sakazuki is truly depressed."
"Such intense emotion, it makes me a little scared to watch."
He spoke in a joking tone, but a trace of worry flickered in his eyes behind his dark glasses.
That monster looked formidable, and Sakazuki's reckless actions seemed like he was looking for death.
It would be amusing if he ended up getting himself killed.
While Kizaru harbored secret concerns, the situation at the end of the molten cave shifted.
The three-headed monster, glowing with red light, finally retaliated. It controlled the endless magma and severely injured Akainu in an instant.
Though it was magma, its color was entirely different, carrying an overwhelming aura of destruction intent on annihilating everything.
"Ugh!" Akainu spat out several mouthfuls of red blood and collapsed onto the searing brown rock.
The monster, previously hidden in the magma and red light, slowly approached him.
At that moment, Akainu finally saw the monster clearly.
It had a massive, upright figure, dark and tough fur, sharp fangs and claws, and three ferocious dog-like heads.
Combined with the red magma light spreading across its body, it resembled the legendary three-headed dog of hell.
The Mythical beast, resembling a three-headed hell dog, stared at Akainu on the ground with its six glowing red eyes and asked, "What about now?"
"Do you still refuse to submit? If you refuse, you will just be extra food for me."
Akainu looked at the towering monster and struggled to rise.
Was his power so insignificant?
Submit? To a mere beast?
What a joke!
Sizzle!
Magma dripped onto the cracked, scorched ground, making a hissing sound.
Akainu's right fist ignited with lava once more.
"Is that your answer?" the monster asked.
"How should I describe you humans—stupid or brave?" It continued.
"When you came chasing power, did you have the resolve, or did you foolishly think this was a game?"
Observing the unyielding man, its three majestic heads revealed a terrifying smile.
"In that case, accept this ending!"
"Roar!"
With a massive roar, the monster lunged.
Akainu unleashed his Magma Iron Fist again.
Rumble!
After one punch, his figure vanished, consumed by the central dog head of the monster.
Kizaru witnessed this scene.
"Hey! Are you serious?" he exclaimed.
"How could Sakazuki die like that?"
At that moment, Kizaru was stunned.
His body tensed, watching the monster's red eyes fixate on him, ready to transform into light at any moment.
Not to avenge Sakazuki, but to prepare to flee.
Truthfully, Kizaru had not expected Sakazuki to be defeated so abruptly, dead before he could even consider a rescue.
How could Sakazuki end like this?
He remained on high alert, his mind swirling with these thoughts.
He had no time for sadness, only a sense of surreal disbelief.
Thud, thud!
The sound of vibrating footsteps echoed as the monster approached Kizaru.
At that moment, a drop of cold sweat slid down Kizaru's chin.
He feared being consumed by the monster the moment he turned into light.
The immense pressure of survival left no room to think about Akainu's fate.
"A human with light attributes?" the monster asked.
"You should go to the forest at the island's edge, thirty degrees due north and west. There may be someone in that lightning forest willing to be your partner." it said.
Kizaru felt confused as sweat dripped from his chin.
What? It ate his friend and then casually gave him directions?
Was it trying to lure him to feed another Mythical beast?
As Kizaru's thoughts ran wild, he noticed the monster before him slowly becoming illusory.
Whoosh!
It transformed into a burst of twisted red light, converging toward a single point.
From that point, Akainu's figure could faintly be seen, rising and falling.
At that moment, in Akainu's inner world, a purgatory-like realm unfolded.
"Human, you will be my companion from now on." a voice declared.
"Remember my name!"
"My name is Purgatory!" it roared.
With a deafening roar, the towering red monster thrust a red light onto the dazed figure.
The scene went dark.
Akainu jolted upright from the scorched red ground, as if awakening from a dream.
"Huff, huff!" he panted.
"You are awake, Sakazuki." Kizaru said.
"Are you feeling unwell?" he asked with concern.
In truth, Kizaru was not overly worried about Akainu's injuries. He was more curious about whether Akainu had gained anything.
He was not just afraid of his brother's struggles but also of his brother driving a Land Rover.
At that moment, Kizaru likely had this mindset.
The Marines now had five Admirals.
But those with discerning eyes knew only two were recognized as the Marines' highest combat power.
The other three were merely placeholders.
As a seasoned figure, Kizaru maintained a relaxed attitude.
He was not alone in this.
However, if Akainu surged ahead now, Kizaru would feel uneasy.
They had agreed to struggle together, but if Akainu took off, it would be embarrassing for him.
"I am fine! Better than ever!" Akainu said.
He ignored Kizaru's odd look and extended his right hand.
Silently, an intense red light spread across his right hand and forearm.
When the red light faded, a black gauntlet covering his right hand and forearm appeared.
The design was majestic and powerful, adorned with red lines.
Staring at it long enough felt like being set ablaze.
"What is this?" Kizaru asked, his tone filled with doubt as he looked at the gauntlet on Akainu's arm.
"Purgatory Cage Hand!" Akainu answered directly.
"A Mythical beast-Killer Equipment capable of Killing Demi Gods!" he declared.
The man's left hand gently touched the gauntlet on his right arm, as if caressing a work of art.
The fiery sensation made him reluctant to stop.
This was power! This was the new power he had gained!
Mythical Beast God Killer! Purgatory Cage Hand!
Seeing Akainu, who had been gloomy for so long, with the corners of his mouth turned up, Kizaru was shocked.
No! A God-Killer Equipment capable of Killing demigods?
Wait!
Recalling the three-headed hell dog-like monster, Kizaru felt uneasy.
Perhaps it was possible!
But could such a thing be revealed so casually?
Should such power not be kept hidden for personal use?
What a mad world!
At that moment, Kizaru could only lament the world's craziness and envy Akainu's luck. He felt sour and greedy, almost crying.
Then, the monster's words before vanishing echoed in his mind.
The appeal of those words grew stronger.
Damn! He was excited!
A look of excitement flashed across Kizaru's face, and he resolved to visit the place the monster had mentioned.
But before leaving, he said, "Kill demigods? That is truly terrifying. Let us leave this place together, Sakazuki."
"Follow me to a place where you can test your current strength."
