Chapter 482 - Chapter 482

"Rongrong?"

"Two Rongrongs?"

"A clone?"

For a brief moment, silence gripped the temple. All eyes shifted between the two identical figures standing across from one another. Some thought it was merely a doppelgänger technique—perhaps a high-level clone.

"Who are you?" asked the Ning Rongrong who had just entered.

"Who are you?" echoed the Ning Rongrong who had just teased Xiao Wu moments ago.

"I'm Ning Rongrong. Who are you?"

"I am Ning Rongrong. Who are you?"

No matter what was said, the other mimicked her words perfectly, voice and mannerisms indistinguishable.

"This is getting ridiculous! Someone figure it out!" grumbled Bone God Bone Douluo, frustration evident on his face.

"I can't tell," replied Sword God Chen Xin, frowning deeply. He turned to Ning Fengzhi beside him. "Fengzhi, what do you think?"

Ning Fengzhi narrowed his eyes and shook his head slowly. "I can't tell either. Perhaps this is the doing of one of Ye Feng's brats playing a prank? After all, a few of them have already developed strange abilities."

Since Ye Feng's departure from the God Realm, several peculiar children had appeared—each bearing his bloodline and exhibiting abilities that rivaled even first-level gods. Their powers were so exceptional that even the Silver Dragon King had been forced to intervene on occasion. But things had changed.

Recently, their cultivation soared to terrifying heights. No longer did they fear the reprimands of the Goddess of Life or the Golden Dragon King. Even the war-hardened Dragon King had been bested by these so-called "little monsters." From then on, no one dared discipline them.

Bang!

Without warning, the "second" Ning Rongrong struck again, giving Xiao Wu another playful smack.

"Ah?!" Xiao Wu yelped in shock, caught completely off guard.

"You mischievous little runt! You dare bully your aunt? Today, I'll teach you some manners!"

A divine pulse surged from the true Ning Rongrong's body. Seven radiant halos appeared behind her, divine lines etched between her brows. As her body accelerated, she pierced the air like a shooting star—her fists igniting sparks from sheer velocity.

But the other Ning Rongrong didn't back down. She mirrored the movement perfectly and charged in without hesitation.

Fists collided. Energy exploded.

Their battle spilled from the palace into the skies above—two blurs trading blows in a ferocious dance of speed and strength.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

From the nearby forest, ten boys soared into the air and stopped above the battlefield, eyes wide as they watched the clash unfold.

"Eh? Two moms?"

"That's weird… Why are there two Aunt Rongrongs?"

"I only have one mom, so one of them has to be fake!"

The ten youths chattered amongst themselves, each looking at the two combatants with serious expressions.

"So, which one's the fake?"

"The one who didn't activate her godhood, of course."

"But what if we're wrong?"

"It doesn't matter. As long as we don't kill her, we'll sort it out later. I'm 90% sure that imposter has a life mark far stronger than Aunt Rongrong's. Our real Aunt Rongrong is only a first-level deity. That one's too refined."

"Then it's settled. Let's give Auntie a hand!"

With a unified shout, the ten boys transformed into ten streaks of divine light and shot toward the battle. Their leader—a boy in green—was the first to intercept the fake Rongrong.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Energy surged as shockwaves tore through the sky.

Ning Rongrong widened her eyes in disbelief. Even the Silver Dragon King couldn't hold her ground for twenty rounds against these little monsters. Yet the imposter had now lasted over fifty—and still wasn't losing ground.

"She's the fake," said Zhu Zhuqing firmly, her tone cold and unwavering.

"Then who is she?" asked Qian Renxue, golden eyes narrowing.

"You all know him," Xiao Wu replied, a sly smile tugging at her lips. Her sparkling eyes shone with emotion, her calm heart suddenly thundering in her chest. Excitement coursed through her veins.

"…He's back," Ye Lingling whispered, tears brimming in her eyes.

As the wielder of the Nine-Hearted Begonia, Ye Lingling's bloodline resonated with powerful life energy. That aura from "Ning Rongrong"—it matched the lifeforce of her father, the God of Begonia.

"He?" Chen Xin's brows furrowed. And then… realization struck.

"Could it be… him?"

Above the palace, the battle raged on.

Three hundred rounds passed—yet neither side yielded.

"Damn it!" one of the boys barked. "Who the hell is she?"

"Who cares?! She smacked Auntie. That's enough reason for a beating!"

The speaker, a sharp-eyed boy with a battle helmet and leaden armor, took a deep breath. Then his aura surged.

"Eight Gates Ninjutsu—First Gate: Open!"

Boom! A pillar of energy erupted around him.

"Second Gate: Rest Gate—Open!"

"Third Gate: Life Gate—Open!"

As he opened gate after gate, his body flushed red, his muscles surged, and a verdant aura enveloped him like armor.

Another boy stepped forward, his face calm, skin fair.

"Xuanyuan Sword—Awaken."

A sacred golden blade appeared in his hand—the legendary Xuanyuan Sword, his martial spirit. As he activated it, waves of sword energy rippled outward, forming a powerful domain.

"Field ability!" shouted one of the observers.

"Yes. This is the Sword King's Domain!" the boy grinned. "If you know what's good for you, surrender."

"Eye of Hell!"

"Nine-Hearted Xuantang!"

Each boy revealed their trump cards in turn—some displaying terrifying physiques and others wielding super-god-level martial spirits. Among them were the Eye of Hell, Nine-Hearted Xuantang, and other divine talents no weaker than first-level gods.

"Brothers! I'm joining too!"

A cheerful voice echoed as a little girl flew up, clad in white, standing atop a radiant white lotus.

"Goodness is like water!"

Gentle power flowed from her being, covering the ten boys in a healing, empowering light. The moment she joined, their morale surged.

"Haha! You're surrounded now. Might as well surrender, impostor!" laughed the helmeted boy, clearly enjoying the chaos.

"And I'll reject you—harshly!"

Ning Rongrong—the imposter—smiled faintly. Her expression remained serene.

"Come, then."

With a flick of her wrist, her divine aura surged and condensed into a translucent, spiked tortoise shell made of spiritual energy, enveloping her body like armor.

Let them come.

She wanted to see how powerful Ye Feng's children had truly become.
