Sylas reached out a hand. However, just as his telekinesis was about to make a move, he felt a strong resistance—the kind that came from more than just another Will. It felt like there was a barrier of worlds separating himself and Moose. Despite the fact he could clearly see the latter, it was like he wasn't really within reach at all.
A short distance that felt like miles upon miles, an endless gap that couldn't be crossed. One that was protecting the man maybe more than he knew.
Moose had grown even more since the last time Sylas had seen him. He was already a behemoth of a man, towering and imposing, even more so than Kael. But now, he stood taller than even a Trakar. Though he lacked the extra set of arms, he was easily eight or so meters tall, a brick wall of muscle rippling in every which direction.
Yet, this tank of a man was very clearly solemn at this moment. He knew of the gap between himself and Sylas.
