"Where are you going?"
Before I could take another step, Gusion's hand clamped firmly around my arm
"To get a better look and identify it, obviously." I twisted my wrist, trying to pull free, but his grip only tightened. I shot him a sharp look. "We're wasting here. Let go already."
"I'll go with you," he said calmly.
"What? Obviously not! You stay here and wait for my command," my voice slipped, forgetting the formalities. Mentally, I was older than him, and I wasn't about to drag him along.
"Mind you, my teacher also assigned me as a leader." His lips curved into the faintest smile.
I blinked, staring at him in disbelief. "What? Professor Orion's gone mad! How could he assign two leaders for the same mission?" I muttered under my breath, shaking my head.
"Now you know," Gusion said, and before I could argue further, he tugged me forward. "Come on."
"Wait, Gus—!"
