His shoes were spotless, which was odd given the dusty road, and a sleek, boxy bag hung on his shoulder.
Curious, Lily quickened her pace and approached him. As she drew closer, she could see the confusion written all over his face. He muttered to himself, looking around as though trying to piece together where he was.
