Yasa was taken aback.
Guaiguai looked at him earnestly and innocently, "I like being with you."
So this is the kind of liking she meant, Yasa felt ashamed for his earlier wild thoughts.
He laughed, "I like you too."
Guaiguai's eyes lit up, "Really?"
"Of course." He patted her head, smiling indulgently, "Aren't we family?"
"Then will we always be together?"
Yasa thought for a moment and said, "If you need, I will always be your family."
"I want us to always be together, as long as we're together." Guaiguai said very seriously.
Yasa knew that Guaiguai barely understood the complexities of social relationships. She was a very simple person, saying what she felt.
So her words were the purest and simplest thoughts.
Without any other meaning.
She liked him, probably just like how she liked family.
After all these years, in her heart, he was her one and only closest family member.
