"Hmmm…"
Li Mei stirred awake, groggy again. She tried to open her eyes but didn't have the strength.
"Heavy… eyes…Haora…" she murmured before slipping back into unconsciousness.
"Miss! Miss—!" she heard someone shouting faintly, just before falling into dreamland once more.
It had been like this for the past hour. Li Mei had been rushed to the nearest hospital—again—just like the time she fell down the stairs.
The voice calling her belonged to Aunt Hi.
"Doctor, are you sure she and the twins are alright?" she asked anxiously, turning to the female doctor who had been overseeing Li Mei's condition for the past ten days.
