The gigantic creature in the depths of the aquarium muttered a name, its mind somewhat blurred, unable to recall many things, except for that face it could never forget.
The massive body was covered with all sorts of parasites, its black eyes sluggishly turning. The monster remembered it didn't always look like this; it stood high above, looking down on all beings, looking down on the people before it.
But now, it was the one bound in the depths of darkness, its bloated body hollowed by parasites, with long threads even crawling through its eyes. It was still itself, yet seemingly no longer the same.
A bright blade slashed into the big fish's body, cutting off a large chunk of flesh. Rather than pain, it felt somewhat relieved.
From its wounds crawled out gray threads, the most terrifying entities in the aquarium, parasitizing every fish.
"Fate, truly elusive."
