Jiang Mingxia hazily mumbled the name of a bar. Ning Xia instructed her firmly, "Mom, stay where you are. I'll come get you right now."
She strode back to her room, grabbed a coat and threw it on, then snatched up her phone and wallet before rushing out the door.
Just as Bo Siyan stepped out of the bathroom, he frowned and asked, "Ning Xia, where are you going this late?"
Ning Xia froze mid-step, turned back to look at him, and said, "My mom is drunk. I'm worried, so I'm going to the bar to bring her home."
Bo Siyan responded without hesitation, "I'll go with you."
At this hour, there was no way he could let her go to a place like a bar by herself, especially considering she had a bit of fame and recognition as a celebrity.
Ning Xia, caught up in her urgency, honestly hadn't thought about that. So she nodded, "Alright."
When the two of them got to the bar and found Jiang Mingxia, it was unclear how much she had drunk. She was sprawled on the sofa, humming a song.
