Lian Xinying carried the box out of Su Rong's room.
Kim saw her carrying a box out and asked curiously, "Sister Yingying, this is Aunt Su's box. Why are you bringing it out?"
There was a time when Kim liked to cling to Su Rong, so she naturally recognized the box.
Kim had asked Su Rong what was inside and why it was locked, but Su Rong only smiled and never gave an answer.
"Bury it with the ashes." Lian Xinying didn't know what was inside, nor did she intend to find out.
Since it's something Su Rong wanted to throw away but couldn't, whatever was inside must be something Su Rong was attached to.
Su Rong's sudden departure left Lian Xinying unsure how to bring her peace in the afterlife, so she decided to bury the box, hoping it would comfort her.
"Oh... what's inside? Do you know?" Kim, being young, couldn't hide her curiosity.
"I don't know." Lian Xinying placed the box next to the ashes, and afterward, her eyes went blank.
She looked particularly sad.
