"Cut it out!"
Xu Xia scoffed and walked out of the kitchen with the plate in hand. She sniffed lightly, unwilling to admit it but had to concede that though she didn't know how it tasted, it looked and smelled quite tempting.
Placing the plate on the dining table, she couldn't hold back any longer and immediately reached out to grab a dumpling from the plate.
Smack!
A chopstick lightly tapped her fingers.
Xu Xia retracted her fingers in pain, "What do you think you're doing?"
Leng Zirui put the microwaved milk on the table, "Never been to kindergarten? Don't know you should wash your hands before meals?"
Xu Xia stuck out her tongue at him, showing her disdain, turned to the kitchen to wash her hands, and came back out. Leng Zirui had already prepared the milk cup and tableware, so she sat down across from him without hesitation, picked up a chopstick, and grabbed a dumpling, eagerly putting it into her mouth.
