Below the stage, journalists quickly picked up their cameras to take photos as Leng Zimo stepped to the center of the podium and gently nodded to the crowd.
"Thank you all for attending. See you at the premiere."
"President Leng!" A staff member approached holding a bouquet. "Your flowers."
"You must be mistaken, right?" Qin Lan glanced at the bouquet in his hands and laughed. "Who would send him flowers?!"
As he spoke, he reached out to grab the bouquet, but Leng Zimo blocked him with an upraised hand and had already taken the bouquet. Qin Lan missed out on grabbing the flowers, but managed to snatch the card within.
