After lunch, Li Bufan burped. He was sitting in the tea room drinking tea, while Lu Ming and Lu Xiaoyou went into the study. Since the two of them met, they hadn't had a proper reunion.
It was clear that Lu Ming was very fond of his granddaughter. Li Bufan looked towards the study, shaking his head, sighing, and sipping a cup of hot tea from the table.
Lu Xiaoyou sat down in the armchair by the bookshelf, her hands on the armrests, legs crossed, her back leaning against the chair, exuding an imposing authority.
Lu Ming came in, his steps paused for a moment. He vaguely sensed something, but then felt it seemed unlikely.
He composed himself, intending to sit down opposite Lu Xiaoyou, when a cold, arrogant voice spoke:
"When you talk to my mother, do you sit on equal footing with her as well?"
Lu Ming, about to sit in the armchair, stopped his movement and looked at Lu Xiaoyou in astonishment.
"If my mother knew you weren't following the rules, how would she deal with you?"
