Chapter 254 - Chapter 253: Criegh and Cristine

Meanwhile, in the Black Market...

The Shadow Clones that had arrived began to spread out across various locations. They mingled with the crowd, each clone moving to strategic points to observe the surroundings.

The Black Market, though a grim place full of hidden activities, rarely saw a group of individuals dressed uniformly in black robes and cloth masks. Their conspicuous appearance immediately drew attention from many.

However, the clones remained calm. They were unconcerned with the gazes directed at them. Their sole focus was completing their assigned task: finding the target.

After some time observing, one of the clones noticed two suspicious figures. They were wearing long black robes and mysterious masks that covered most of their faces. Their movements appeared cautious, as if deliberately avoiding attention.

Seeing this, the Shadow Clones immediately realized that their target had appeared. With coordinated movements, they began observing from a safe distance, ensuring not to miss any steps taken by the two individuals.

...

...

...

Criegh and Cristine were twins known not only for their blood bond but also for their very important positions within the Soul Collectors organization.

Criegh served as a Captain, while Cristine was the Vice-Captain of the Arde Group, one of the four major groups that made up the Soul Collectors.

The Soul Collectors had four main leaders who commanded each group, and each group consisted of five captains, meaning there were twenty captains in the organization.

These four groups worked toward the same goal, although they often had different ways of carrying out orders.

The Arde Group, led by an Executive, was one of the four Executives who held the highest authority within the Soul Collectors. This Executive, known as Arde, gave direct orders to Criegh and Cristine.

The order was to purchase various explosives in the Black Market, with the condition that they carefully conceal their identities.

The reason Criegh, despite being a Captain, was given this task lay in Criegh's unique abilities.

Criegh was an Abnormal, an individual with extraordinary powers not possessed by most people. Criegh's most striking ability was the Fog of Transference.

With this power, Criegh could create a thick fog that enveloped him, and by merely imagining a place, Criegh could instantly teleport to that location.

Although this ability was very useful, it was also highly draining. For this reason, Criegh only used this ability in situations that absolutely required it. Reckless use could cause extreme exhaustion and even pose risks to Criegh's health.

At the moment, Criegh was amidst the crowded Black Market, navigating the dark, narrow alleys filled with various vendors selling illegal goods.

Criegh was not alone. He was accompanied by his younger twin sister, Cristine, who also served as the Vice-Captain of the same team. Although they shared the same blood, their personalities were vastly different, creating a stark contrast between them.

Criegh, with his very quiet, cold, and obedient demeanor, often made those around him feel that he was a difficult person to approach. Criegh rarely spoke unless absolutely necessary and always carried out orders with meticulous precision.

On the other hand, Cristine was the opposite of all that. Cristine loved to talk, sometimes even excessively. Full of curiosity, Cristine always tried to learn everything, making her a cheerful and spirited figure.

However, Cristine's cheerful nature also often made her someone difficult to command, especially when the orders seemed uninteresting or didn't align with Cristine's preferences.
