A very long time ago, Gryphon had been an accomplished adventurer. He had travelled the world in good company, seen beautiful sights and tasted otherworldly cuisine. The old mage, was in all accounts, a veteran. And yet, despite his abundance of experience, Gryphon could not help but curse as he remembered how warm his bed back in the shop had been.
Osgar, who would later become Azel, was in a deep sleep to Gryphons left. The young scout must have been naturally trusting, for him to let his guard down around a total stranger was nothing short of naïve. Well, not a total stranger, after all Gryphon knew things about Osgar that he didn't even know about himself.
For example, he knew Osgar would one day have either lived a good enough life to have his body put in a tomb at the foot of the Pan mountains, and that he would develop a somehow stoic and yet still sarcastic personality, several centuries -or perhaps even millennia- from now.
