"Great now I'm gonna be stuck in some f**king human school for how long because of a random book and f**king hunters!"
After the encounter with his father and the elders his father came to him telling him that he'd be going to a school in two years to help keep a better eye on the hunters. Hearing this he nodded knowing there was nothing he could do since the decision was already made. Without saying anything he went to his room. Despite how he acted at first he was not thrilled about not knowing why the wound on his chest was talking so long to heal. But this was not the cause of his outburst. The reason he was cursing and complaining was the fact he was been sent away to keep on eye on the humans. More specifically the hunters.
Overall he didn't really hate all humans only the hunters and despicable ones. As a creature with strong ties to wolves he valued loyalty and bonds more than anything. Something that most humans lack. They would abandon the ones who would bleed for them without a second thought if riches or anything else was involved. Apart from that he hated their "Humans are the superior species mind set" This mentality made them want to control and understand everything on the face of this world and even beyond. Getting rid of what they didn't understand out of fear.
"And I still don't have a reasonable answer to why this thing is barely healing." He muttered in frustration while looking in his mirror at the wound he had gotten.
"Nothing I can really do about it for now so might as well just leave. I bet she knows what's happening, she was the one who did it to me after all." He said to himself. The thought of her giving him a feeling he didn't know whether to like or hate.
"When this whole thing starts I doubt I'll have time to deal with my team. I'll have to leave someone temporarily in charge of them for the time being. But who. It can't be any of original members. None of them have the ability needed to lead. The only person I can think of is… but then again I don't want to put ideas in her head but she the only option. F**k it. What ever happens with her happens if she does any crap I just handle it like I always do."
With his peace said Jason went straight to the shower to wash since he hasn't had a one since he woke up. As soon as he got out and dressed he left his room to find the person he was thinking off.
**Knock Knock**
"Opening the door. I know your in there I can smell you." He called after reaching the persons room and knocking. He waited for a few seconds before the door was opened and he was dragged in.
"You came to see me jason i'm so glad that you haven't forgotten about little old me." A female voice said in a seductive tone. She had dragged him into her room and pinned him against the door.
"Nice to see you too amber. Still can't keep your hands off me as usual I see." Jason said looking at her. She had long brown hair, dark brown eyes, red lips and a seductively curvy body, she stood at 5'8 which meant she had to look up at him. The way she looked up at him with her seductive smirk and lust filled eyes made her all the more attractive.
"Well how can I, it's not every day I get alone time with you. So are you here to finally have a ride on that marvelous body of yours." She asked running her fingers over his toned chest.
"Enough amber I didn't come here for you to try and get me in bed with you. I have a job or rather a favor a need from you." Jason said gently removing off of him. He had known amber since they were little kids. And to him she was a close friend.
"You know it's not nice to a lady from what she wants." She said pouting.
"I'm sure you'd be able to get anyone you wanted in bed with you if you actually let males other that me get close to you." Jason spoke.
"Most men would be happy a girl is saving themselves for them for so long. But here you are telling me how I could get anyone else." Amber said pretending to be sad.
"Even if I wanted to take you and that amazing body of yours as mine that b*tch wouldn't let me here the end of it." He said sighing.
"You mean anita right? You must have your hands full." Amber said finding his predicament amusing.
"Yeah, her father somehow convince my dad that we were made for each other. But she's just a way for them to try and get a leash around my neck so they can control me." He answered scoffing.
"That's just sad, so did you come here to ask me to finally kill her or did you need something else. Anita asked as she sat on her bed gesturing for him to sit beside her. Moving to do just that he sat down before speaking.
"Amber i'm gonna be leaving for a mission in the next two years. I need you to take charge of the elites that I have under my command. Your the only one I can trust to do this." He said looking at her.
Hearing that he would be leaving she suddenly became sad.
"Where to?" She asked looking at him.
"My father will be sending me to a human school to keep a better eye on the hunters. I don't know how long it will last but it'll probably be over a year or two." He answered.
"By yourself!!, why would your father do that." Amber shouted.
"It's fine amber. Calm down. I'm the only one my father trusts to do this that's why.
"I'm coming with you." She said standing up.
"No your not. I need you here amber." He said looking at her.
"No you don't. Just disband your elites into normal duties until your back it's not like they're gonna get to do nothing much if your not with them." She said looking back at him.
"Ok let's say I do that, you still won't be able to come, my father wouldn't allow that." He said falling on her bed.
"I don't give a f**k what your father would or would not allow. Your my best friend jason, and your gonna go somewhere filled with hunters my yourself, and he didn't think to send someone with you. You might be strong be you even have your limits." She shouted tears flowing down her face.
Seeing her start to cry jason moved to hug her.
"Look amber i'm sorry but there's nothing I can do I know it's dangerous but my dad is the alpha of our pack this is one thing I can't disobey him on." Jason whisper in her ears. He was about to continue when a know on ambers door stopped him.
He was just going to ignore it but the scent of the person caught his attention.
"Why is father here?" He asked confused. Hearing this amber stopped sobbing and straightened up.
"Maybe he was looking for you and heard you were here." Amber said moving to the door.
Opening it she came face to face with him. With a small bow she spoke.
"Greetings my lord. What brings you here tonight." She said.
"Ah amber just the one i'm looking for. I have a job fo you." He said smiling.
Just as he was about to continue jason stepped into view.
"Jason you're here as well, good this makes things a lot easier." He said upon seeing him.
"Makes what easier father?" He asked with interest.
"It's in regards to that mission I gave you, the one for you to attend the human school to watch the hunters. My advisors wanted you to take someone with you just in case." He said.
"Let me guess anita's dad suggested her." Jason said the displeasure in his voice showing he was not pleased.
"Yes. But due to her not having enough experience dealing with hunters she was not eligible for the job." His father said sounding a bit now.
"So if it's not anita who is it?" Jason said already having an idea of who it might be.
"Amber. She is the closest to you and you both work well together so it's the best option. Let it be known that even though i'm not entirely pleased with this choice it cannot be changed. My discussion is final."
His father said before just walking away.
As soon as he was gone amber slammed her door shut before letting her frustration known.
"The f**k he mean not pleased with the choice." She said her voice raised.
"My father seems to like anita and might have been disappointed that she would not be the one to go since it would mean more time for her to and I quote win me over." Jason said sounding insulted.
"At least you're not going alone anymore." Amber said sighing."
"I'm leaving, I have to get some rest since i'm still not healed." He said getting ready to leave.
"What do you mean not healed?" Amber asked stopping him
"Oh, guess I forgot to tell you. My last mission I fought with the vampire princess and she did something to me since the wound she placed on my chest is not healing as fast as it should." He said looking at her.
"Let me see." She said walking closer to him.
Seeing no problem with it he removed his shirt and the bandages under it to reveal the wound. See it she gently rested her hand close to to it.
"What did she do to you?" She said stepping back.
"I have not idea, by the looks of it, it will heal just it's gonna take way longer than usual most likely leaving a scar. He replied
"Does it hurt?" Amber asked.
"Yeah, but it's not all that bad I barely even feel it." He answered putting the bandages back and his shirt.
"Your staying with me tonight." She said looking at him.
"Bad idea. The tantrum anita will throw won't be pretty amd while she can't do me anything the same can't be said for you, besides didn't I stay here just last week because of your dreams." He said stepping away.
"I have never and will care what that little b*tch wants. If your this hurt who knows if she might try something while you sleep." Amber said moving closer to him.
"I'm not that hurt for anyone to do anything." He protested.
"I'm not asking Jason i'm telling you. You're staying here tonight and that's that." She said walking away.
"Why does she always have to do this to me." He said with a sigh of indignation.
Fifteen minutes later he found himself in her bed sound asleep with her beside him.
"If only you knew how much I love you jason." She said before drawing closer to him.
