Okay, so about another week or so had now passed. Which was just about how long it had been, since me and Sakura had gone and transformed the Time Card into yet another Star Card. And this had also been how long since me and Sakura, had both had to use the Time Card. But as for why we both had to use and transform the Time Card? Well that was because me and Sakura had been sort of forced to use and transform the Time Card, in order to attempt to save me, Sakura, Eli, and our entire class from a huge mountainous avalanche. That had somehow managed to nearly bury all of us, while we had all been on a trip to a ski resort, as since it was summer time back in Tomoeda, our schools class had decided to go on a ski trip. But unfortunately during me and Sakura using the Time Card, as well as several other Star Cards that we had already transformed in the past. We both wound up exhausting ourselves due to having used quite a bit of our magic. But yet somehow despite this, we had both managed to still dissipate the avalanche. But what had struck us both as odd, was that before we had both wound up passing out from having exhausted ourselves from using our magic, we had been unable to dissipate the avalanche ourselves. But yet somehow, the avalanche still wound up dissipating. And this was the reason, as to why neither me or Sakura could understand what had exactly happened.
But as it would happen, as with regard to the current moment, this wasn't exactly on either me or Sakura's mind. Because well, as with regard to me and Sakura's current situation...
"Wow, I never knew that our schools fair could be so much fun as well as look so beautiful." I had proceeded to think to myself. And sure enough as it would happen, both me and Sakura were currently present at Tomoeda Elementary. And we were both currently walking throughout the school courtyard and inside of our schools main building. And yet as it would also happen, we were not doing this alone either. Because as it would happen...
"Okay, so while I do appreciate Julian accompanying me and Sakura. I somehow still seem to find it just a bit out of place. Since despite Julian being Yue, Julian still isn't aware of him being Yue. But I guess for the time being, this is something that is for the best," I proceeded to think to myself.
And fast forwarding to a little later on, as me, Sakura, and Julian had decided to go into the star display. Which had been setup in the courtyard along with many of the other fairs booths. And it was then that both me and Sakura, had then proceeded to suddenly sense an all too familiar presence. And, well...
"Oh you have got to be kidding me right now, why does this have to happen now?" I then proceeded to think to myself. Because as it would happen, both me and Sakura had now suddenly sensed the presence of Clow Reed. And it was then that both me and Sakura knew, that we were going to have to make up some kind of an excuse, in order for the both of us to go and find the current source of Clow Reeds presence.
And thankfully, Sakura was quick to give Julian a valid excuse. "Hey Julian, me and Zachary need to go and check on Li at a nearby booth, we will catch up with you later," Sakura then proceeded to say to Julian. Which thankfully Julian was okay with this. And so me and Sakura then proceeded to run off in the direction of where we were currently sensing Clow Reeds presence.
And after running for a little bit inside the star display. I had proceeded to then pull out the Maze Card. And thankfully, Sakura already knew what my idea was. And so without either me or Sakura needing to exchange any words between either of us, and with Sakura proceeding to pull out the Illusion Card. We had both proceeded to pull out our respective Star keys.
"Key of the stars, with powers burning bright, reveal the staff, and shine your light, Release!" Me and Sakura both chanted in unison. And after a sever gust of wind and sand. Both of our respective Star Keys expanded into our respective Star Staffs. Which was then followed by both of us then proceeding to quickly grab them with a quick over handed gasp. To which we both then proceeded to quickly twirl them, and then quickly finish off with our usual respective battle ready poses.
And as I had then proceeded to throw the Maze Card up into the air, and as Sakura also proceeded to throw the Illusion Card up into the air at the exact same time as I threw the Maze Card up into the air. Me and Sakura both then proceeded to quickly raise our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Maze Card and Illusion Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our might, Star Card!" Me and Sakura both proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted both the Maze Card and the Illusion card to both stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as both the Maze Card spirit and Illusion card spirit appeared, and had then proceeded to quickly conjure up a very intricate maze. And as for the Illusion Card? Well it was now proceeding to help me and Sakura, with trying to find the current source of Clow Reeds presence.
And it was only about a few seconds or so later, that me and Sakura had then proceeded to happen upon a nearby curtain inside of the star display. And yet once Sakura had proceeded to pull back the curtain, both me and Sakura suddenly wound up blacking out.
And it was only once we had both regained consciousness, that I could now see that both me and Sakura were now laying down on the floor of our bedroom back at our home. And it was only then that I realized, that something very bizarre had happened to both me and Sakura inside of the star display. And for the moment, I didn't know what had caused both me and Sakura to black out. But what neither me or Sakura knew, was that an imminent challenge awaited the both of us. And it would wind up proving to be our toughest challenge yet. But more on that at a later date.
