Jun Ye went into the bedroom, took off his jacket, walked to the living room, passed the kitchen, and said to Bai Lu, who was busy inside, "Gao Dashuai is coming over, add two more dishes later."
Bai Lu listened to him and replied without turning around, "Are you guys drinking?"
"Do we have any at home?"
"There should be some white beer in the fridge. He brought it over himself last time."
The guys typically don't keep alcohol at home because they're all about keeping clean and sober. Gao Dashuai has to bring a few bottles over whenever he visits for a meal.
Jun Ye opened the fridge with one hand and found two bottles of white beer, realizing they were from when Gao Dashuai brought over a case some months ago. The expiration date hadn't passed, so they were drinkable. He took them out and put them on the dining table. Then looked for a bottle opener but couldn't find one after searching for a while.
