The car drove out of the Royal Prison, Leng Youchen holding the unconscious Wei Anning, a layer of cold sweat breaking out on his back. If it weren't for his timely arrival, they would have been separated forever by now.
He looked back at the sky illuminated by flames behind them, a chill overtaking his heart, his gaze even more piercing.
Lu Feng was driving in front, the hot air pushing the car forward. Through the rearview mirror, he saw the buildings collapse, the cell there razed to the ground, leaving him shocked as well.
"The Queen reneged on her word. Luckily we moved ahead of time, otherwise..."
Leng Youchen's gaze was icy. Such commotion, yet Wei Anning hadn't woken up, she must have been drugged. He reached out to gently stroke her hair, speaking in a deep voice: "Lu Feng, go faster."
