Wei Anning suddenly widened her eyes, "You're saying William was shot at close range?"
"Yes."
Images of what she saw upon waking last night flashed rapidly through Wei Anning's mind; bloodstains were sprayed on the white sheets. If it was blood splattered from a gunshot, it would have been sprayed in a straight line, but there was a space left on the sheets.
She looked down at her clothes. If she had fired the gun, being so close to him, her clothes would certainly have been splattered with blood. However, there wasn't any on her clothing.
"Your Majesty, I have evidence to prove I didn't kill him."
The Queen raised her eyebrows, "Speak."
"William was shot at close range, right in the chest. I remember blood that belonged to him was sprayed on the sheets, with one area left untouched, so that part of the blood must have splattered onto the shooter, but there are no bloodstains on me," Wei Anning analyzed calmly.
