Zero Egg didn't sound the alarm in Wen Jiang's mind until they were close to the hotel.
Wen Jiang remained silent for a moment. In truth, even without Zero Egg's warning, she had already sensed someone's gaze fixed intently on her.
She looked up and, through the corner of a car window down the street, caught sight of Song Yingchen's profile.
He had even thought to wear a mask to partially conceal his face, but his eyes were locked on Wen Jiang. He probably hadn't seen her for a long time and seemed determined to get his fill now.
After a moment's thought, Wen Jiang said to An Fuxue, "You head back to the hotel first. I have some business to take care of."
An Fuxue was quite discreet. Hearing this, she didn't ask Wen Jiang what she was going to do but replied obediently, "Alright, I'll go back then. Let's meet for dinner later."
