Chapter 59 - Counting Sheep Pt. 1

Class 12-A hung around during their free time while Luciel and Su-Yun were in the teacher's lounge planning the new agenda for the class. Kim Eun, who was still salty about her earlier encounter, let out a frustrated groan and sprung out her seat. She began charging toward Sang So-Yi, wiping her belongings off her desk.

"You must think you're so clever huh? You've finally found your voice in this class, failure?" Kim Eun lashed, slamming her hand upon the surface of So-Yi's desk.

Hyeon Bae's body jolted slightly from Kim Eun's aggression, gulping lightly as she glanced over at So-Yi with concern. She glanced back up at Kim Eun, curling her lips before speaking up. "So-Yi did nothing wrong except tell the truth."

"What was that?" Kim Eun growled, her gaze shifting over to Hyeon Bae like a feral beast waiting to strike her target.

"Aishh...Shibal," So-Yi said casually, looking up at Kim Eun and raising her hand to give Eun the middle finger. "You're just mad you got handled by the new professor...and your game will come to an end."

Kim Eun grit her teeth and gripped So-Yi's shirt, lifting her out her seat then pushed her all the way to the lockers at the back of the class. "You better watch your mouth, peasant...you are F Rank, what gives you the right to speak to me like that?"

"Kim Eun!" In Mi-yong called out, standing up from her seat but her friend next to her grabbed her hand to prevent her from going to the back of the class. "Sun-mi, what are you doing?"

Sun-mi looked up at In Mi-yong with her light brown eyes, shaking her head and glancing back over at Kim Eun. "If you get in another fight with her outside of designated zones, you'll get suspended..."

"I can't just sit around and let that tramp keep getting away with trying to bully a lower rank! Enough is enough!" In Mi-yong argued, snatching her arm away to approach Kim Eun, but stopped as the classroom door swung open.

Everyone glanced at the door, seeing a late student just arriving to class. She had pitch black shoulder length hair, wearing a gray hoodie with a green jacket over it, her school skirt, and white tennis shoes. The girl looked around the class, noticing Kim Eun holding So-Yi against the wall then scoffed.

"Eun, let her go right now," The girl said, walking toward Kim Eun with her hands in her jacket pockets.

"Heh! Look who just arrived! The C Rank, Jiahn Wa! You're coming in a bit late aren't you? Figures, a low life like you always had to take the long way, walking through the cornfields," Kim Eun taunted, letting go of So-Yi and shifted her attention toward Jiahn.

Jiahn glared at Kim Eun and exhaled slowly through her nose, calming her nerves and took a step forward, striking Kim Eun upon her stomach with her knee. The class gasped at Jiahn's sudden attack against Kim Eun, everyone clearing the way as chaos soon erupted.

Kim Eun groaned as she stumbled backwards against the lockers, holding her stomach and looked up, gasping lightly as she watched Jiahn's fist fly toward her face. Luckily, she dodged out the way in time to launch a right hook at Jiahn's jaw, but missed due to Jiahn being slightly out of reach.

Jiahn rubbed her slightly stinging hand from hitting against metal, her gaze fixated upon Kim Eun with the intention to beat her into a pulp. "You mess with my friends, talk bad about me in my face...and expect to walk away without a black eye? You're now asking for it."

"You're not even supposed to be here, you belong at Bulan High School anyway! Oh I forgot, you had to transfer here because they deemed you too violent and now I can see why!" Kim Eun laughed, cracking her knuckles and getting herself ready for another bout.

Kim Eun charged toward Jiahn with a series of punches, but Jiahn blocked each one then grabbed Eun's arm, keeping her in place for a sweep kick to get her onto the ground. Jiahn placed her hand upon Eun's shoulder, her knee firmly pressed against her back.

"I was kicked out of Bulan because I was unteachable to them...I don't need their corrupt teachings. They teach about only War...and this side only teaches about Peace..." Jiahn scoffed, staring down at Kim Eun with disdain. "Yet, you grasp none of it, maybe you should be at Bulan..."

"Get the hell off of me..!" Kim Eun growled, trying to take her arm back, but Jiahn's hold was too strong.

"You should be lucky I took it easy on you...I am a Code Green, meaning anyone who dares to strike me will have an army of Code Reds upon them," Jiahn said, letting Kim Eun go and standing up on her feet.

Ha-Rin only listened to the discourse while completing her school work, curious about the various Codes amongst Valkyria and Heroes. She sat down her pen, turning around in her seat and put a smile on her face.

"Jiahn Wa!" Ha-Rin called out to Jiahn, waving her over toward her and Woo-Yi.

Woo-Yi grunted softly as she looked over at Jiahn, a wave of nervousness washing over her at the thought of her being face to face with her. To her relief, Jiahn ignored Ha-Rin to go check on Sang So-Yi and Hyeon Bae. She let out a silent sigh of relief, turning back around in her seat to do her work once more.

"The nerve on that chick, am I right? To decline The A Rank Valkyria, someone should teach her a lesson," Woo-Yi said with false bravado, keeping a strong front despite her nervousness about having to actually speak to Jiahn.

"Hm...there's no need for that, Woo-Yi. After all, she's tending to her friends and that's all that matters," Ha-Rin said with perfect breath, turning back around and swiping her hair behind her then continued to work.

In Mi-yong and Sun-mi listented to Ha-Rin and Woo-Yi from the seats behind the two, both of them feeling a hint of uncertainty brewing within them as they heard Ha-Rin's sweet voice. To them, her perfection was too perfect, too keen and her A Rank was infallible.

The class began to settle back down without Do Song Boon having to be called, everyone returning to their seats and continuing with their free time. There were a few whispers about Jiahn being a Code Green, having full immunity from Manaport and the ACU.

"What? You were branded a Code Yellow by the ACU yesterday? That's not good if you're on their radar after the Nam-Suk and Sa Nu Rim incidents...it just sucks that I can't do anything until my shop is finished," Jiahn sighed, slouching back in her seat and slipping her hands into her pockets.

"You can always come to my Samchon Jinyoung's shop at Aetherpoint! He's always willing to help anyone who's willing to come to his shop, though it is only noticable at night," Hyeon Bae suggested, looking over at Jiahn with a bright smile.

"That's the issue, your uncle's shop is only seen at night while Manaport works during the day plus isn't Aetherpoint partnered with Manaport?" Sang So-Yi asked dryly, looking over at Hyeon Bae blandly.

"Oh right...I forgot," Hyeon Bae giggled lightly, rubbing the back of her neck with an awkward smile.

"Thanks for the suggestion though..." Jiahn said, placing her notebook over her face with a light sigh and closed her eyes, preparing to go to sleep in class.

A few moments went by, and Luciel and Su-Yun had returned to the class with a new lesson plan ready to set in motion for the class. Everyone stopped what they were doing to pay attention to Luciel and Su-Yun, Hyeon Bae nudging Jiahn to wake her up.

Jiahn took her notebook from her face to look at Hyeon Bae to see what she wanted, her gaze shifting ahead to see Luciel and Su-Yun. She gasped in shock, standing up on her feet and staring directly at Su-Yun as if she had seen a ghost.

"Sa Nu Rim?!" Jiahn asked in disbelief, rubbing her eyes to make sure what she was seeing was real.

Su-Yun looked over at Jiahn and gave her a smile, nodding her head at her. "Ahh, good afternoon to you as well."

"Do you not remember me? Training with Pasal and Jianman?" Jiahn asked noticing Su-Yun shake her head, growing slightly frustrated at Su-Yun's cluelessness. "Aishh! You literally helped my brother, Jianman, defeat Hachiman three years ago!"

"She's literally a cosplayer, you're not gonna get any answers from her dumbass," Kim Eun scoffed, crossing her arms and let out a soft groan as she lifted her head back.

"Cosplayer? There's literally only one woman with that Balkiria Ranger Battlesuit, and last time I checked, no one found any of Sa Nu Rim's equipment or battlesuits! This is Sa Nu Rim!" Jiahn urged, refusing to believe otherwise and pointing at Su-Yun.

"Enough about me, and let's all focus on something that is more important, hmm?" Su-Yun asked with a smile, holding her hands together like a saleswoman and glanced around the class. "We noticed there is a lot of... animosity in this class so we've come up with an idea."

"As Aetherians, you all are combat prone due to being Valkyrian or born from a Heroic Bloodline. Of course, Aetherians also hold great honor in themselves...so why not clear the air," Luciel asked, glancing between each of the students in the class.

The students began to grow curious at Su-Yun and Luciel's plan, Ha-Rin growing the most curious of all as her gaze never left Luciel's form. Few whispers began to break out, some theorizing what the new lesson plans would be.

"We have been given authority by Headmistress Kaguya to be able to conduct missions for you all in replacement to the missions given to you by your...self developed app," Luciel said, glancing at the girl with the laptop in front of her face.

The girl felt Luciel's gaze, lowering her head and brushing her hair behind her ear, faint signs of tribal tattoos visible upon her neck. "So what are these missions you're proposing..?"

"Today, your missions will be focused upon your Fruits of the Spirit: Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Love, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control," Luciel began, turning on the projector screen behind her then used her laptop to connect to the screen.

"Today, we will work on your Self-Control before we work on anything else. In today's lesson, you all will find groups of three and we will be meeting at this Battle Zone," Luciel said, pointing at the map of the entire St. Goken Institution campus to Battle Zone 4, a forest battlefield.

Kim Eun smirked at the idea of Luciel and Su-Yun's plan, letting out a soft chuckle and sat up in her seat. "A Battle Zone..? And this is supposed to teach us Self-Control? What are we doing? Sparring matches?"

"There are currently 24 students in this class, a total of eight teams on the vast field of Battle Zone 4, a zone meant for Team Royales. Your goal is to win of course, but how you win will determine your grade, and for a bit of extra fun, Sa Nu Rim and I will be joining in," Luciel said, her smile widening at the murmurs of the class with her arms crossed.

Jiahn, Sang So-Yi, and Hyeon Bae stared at Luciel and Su-Yun, each of them wondering what their actual plan was. So-Yi glanced around the class at Kim Eun, Li-Na, Woo-Yi, and Ha-Rin, those four girls being the biggest threats for either their talents or high intelligence, in Li-Na's case.

Luciel and Su-Yun gathered the class and began heading out the classroom, leading everyone out the building to Battle Zone 4. Along the way, everyone was already gathering their groups of three and devising plans on who to target first and how.

Making it to the red digital barrier around the massive forest arena ahead, Luciel stopped in her tracks then turned around to face the class. "We are here, so listen up everyone. Your goal is to win the Royale by defeating me and Sa Nu Rim. How you get to that point is dependent upon you all."

"Be warned! Luci and I are not weak in the slightest! My badge may read C Rank, but I am an S Rank Valkyria!" Su-Yun declared, pointing at Class 12-A and smirking at them, the voice of Sa Nu Rim speaking for Su-Yun.

Kim Eun smacked her fist against her palm, a smirk growing upon her face as she began getting pumped up. "In Mi-yong, Sun-mi! As much as I hate you two, we do work great together as one group!"

In Mi-yong bumped her shoulder into Kim Eun with a scoff as she walked forward, putting on her gloves and loosening her tie around her neck. "Tch, you're only stuck with me because Woo-Yi chose to work with Ha-Rin over you."

Sun-mi let out a soft sigh as she summoned her wireless microphone, placing her hand upon her hip. "Just because we share some ideals doesn't make us anything more than Acquaintances, Eun."

Hyeon Bae looked down at her phone, checking the time then glanced up at Su-Yun, wondering if she would be able to get through the challenge before the sunset and reverted back to normal. 'That foolish cat is playing a dangerous game...'

"If this challenge is anything like I'm thinking it is, wouldn't it be better to ally with other teams to take down Ms. Winters and Ms. Rim?" Jiahn asked, crossing her arms and tilting her head with slight confusion.

Sang So-Yi's gaze traced across each group, highlighting each important person that could be a threat to a potential alliance. "Yom Seul-Ki, Ko Su-Mi, Hwang Ji-yong, Pyo Yu-Ni, Song Jae-in, and Ye-Won Moji...they are a threat to that idea."

"Why's that?" Hyeon Bae asked, glancing over at So-Yi and putting her phone away.

"The first three are friends with either Kim Eun or Ha-Rin, so they won't be any use for us. Pyo Yu-Ni is very skiddish and not prone for combat, Song Jae-in is a pervert...she likely won't mix with us. And Ye-Won is the person who built Go-Goken with her cousin," So-Yi explained, talking as if she had done extensive research upon her classmates.

"Sometimes, I forget you're a military child. Your IQ unnerves me," Jiahn said with a light chuckle, glancing ahead and noticing everyone moving into the zone.

With that, everyone began to head into Battle Zone 4 and Luciel gave everyone 30 minutes to find their starting positions around the forest while she and Su-Yun made their way toward the center. Once everyone was ready, an alarm sounded throughout the entire arena, commencing the Royale to begin.

Ha-Rin let out a soft exhale and sat upon a large rock, flipping her hair and crossing one leg over the other. "Li-Na, do you have your equipment ready? I would like to make this an easy time so I can make my piano practice later with Yeon-ji."

"All operations are online, there are no targets near us in a 700 meter radius," Li-Na replied, setting up techno orbs to float around them and keep watch over them.

"Ha-Rin, you know what we should do? We should set up some traps just in case anyone dares to get near us!" Woo-Yi said with a beaming smile, hoping to seek Ha-Rin's approval.

Ha-Rin smiled at Woo-Yi's suggestion, looking around the area of the forest she was in then shrugged her shoulders. "That should be fine, I have no issues with that."

Woo-Yi nodded and hurried off to prepare traps around the forest, dragging Li-Na along with her since she had the ability to build anything from any resource. Ha-Rin watched the two walk off then looked ahead, her mind constantly thinking about Luciel's words.

Sang So-Yi, Hyeon Bae, and Jiahn rushed through the forest, mainly searching for Luciel and Su-Yun, but as they pushed forward, a pulse of aquatic energy rushed toward the three. Hyeon Bae acted quickly, summoning Hoon to bark loudly and block the pulse of water.

Appearing in front of them was a male with flowing blue hair and light green eyes, a woman with long straight black hair with green highlights, and a second male with burning red hair and light brown eyes. Sang So-Yi stared at them for a moment, the Stigmata in her right eye faintly glowing as she studied the three.

"They control Water, Earth, and Fire respectively. Mizu, Choko, and Kazu... They are all D Rank," So-Yi said, glancing between Jiahn and Hyeon Bae.

"Your Discernment is high, even without a System you can tell their ranks. So what do you suggest we do?" Jiahn asked, glancing over at So-Yi with interest in her suggestion.

Before So-Yi could tell her plan, Mizu charged in toward So-Yi at flowing rates with a spinning roundhouse kick, catching her off guard. Quickly, So-Yi blocked the attack with her arm, grunting heavily from the critical blow. She pushed him back then leaped backwards to create distance.

Jiahn rushed in for So-Yi, launching a heavy punch to Mizu's midsection, but his body became water and fell to the ground, surprising Jiahn. During Jiahn's moment of falter, Choko launched a bundle of roots toward her to knock her away.

Hyeon Bae gasped as she watched Jiahn get washed away from the roots, looking ahead to see a large fireball rushing toward her. "Hoon! Howl!"

Hoon let out a powerful warning howl, Spiritual Energy rising up from the ground around Hoon to block the fireball, the collision generating high winds. Hyeon Bae held her hand out toward Hoon, synchronizing with him to expand the spirit pillar, a bright light shining and blinding everyone.

Everyone slowly began to uncover their eyes as the light dimmed, the moment of blindness giving Jiahn, So-Yi, and Hyeon Bae enough time to escape from the surprise battle. Mizu and his team began to search around for the three, their sights fully set on the three girls.

"What the heck was that move you just used?" Jiahn asked in awe, panting quickly as she dashed down the forest.

"It's called Spirit Flash! By expanding Hoon's mirror barrier, I could use the sunlight that peers through the trees to emit a strong reflective light! An Angel taught me that move!" Hyeon Bae explained in between her running pants, trying to keep up the same pace as Sang So-Yi and Jiahn.

"An Angel? Like you saw one?" So-Yi asked, glancing back at Hyeon Bae.

Hyeon Bae nodded, hearing the disbelief in So-Yi's tone. "I see lots more than people think! That's why I'm one of the only ones who knows about my uncle's shop! My ability is called Delirium!"

"That explains so much, and explains why you have so many Stigmata. You're a walking Spirit, a Specter!" Jiahn responded with mock terror, letting out a soft laugh.

"Hey, it's not funny! It's a real thing when you're in Between!" Hyeon Bae whined, pushing her legs harder to match the pace of her friends.

As the three charged down the forest, Sang So-Yi's ears began to ring, alerting her of danger then she stopped running. Jiahn and Hyeon Bae stopped as well, glancing back at Sang So-Yi and noticed her carefully searching the area, her eyes peeled for anything.

Hoon began to bark at Hyeon Bae, warning her of the danger around her as well. Hyeon Bae glanced down at Hoon then began to search as well, her heart nearly stopping as she noticed an 8 foot woman standing in the distance.

Hyeon Bae let out a scream and ran off with her eyes covered, quickly ducking behind a tree. "That's not real...it's not real..."

"Hyeon Bae!" Jiahn called out, glancing around for Hyeon Bae behind nearby trees.

Unbeknownst to Jiahn, a blitzing figure in white robes rushed toward her, catching her off guard with a clean blow to her face. Jiahn groaned as she was sent crashing into a tree behind her, her figure falling into the bushes.

Sang So-Yi grunted softly as she glanced back at the man in white robes then toward where Hyeon Bae looked before running off, seeing a woman in an oversized white hoodie. 'One Egyptian, one Japanese...who's the third..?'

"Geez, you two! I said, 'Rough them up' not traumatize the poor girl and demolish the Code Green!" A man said, walking forward dressed in red and blue primal clothing, resembling an ancient feathered dragon.

Sang So-Yi looked behind her, her ears ringing even louder as she looked at the man before her, gulping lightly and taking a step back. 'Stay calm, So-Yi...stay calm...'

The man crossed his arms as his grinned down at So-Yi, towering over her with his tall stature. "Ahh, the Military Child, Sang So-Yi! You were the first to detect us, so that makes you the true threat of your group!"

"Ko'rai...I didn't think I'd encounter you this quickly..." Sang So-Yi said, taking soft, slow breaths to calm her nerves. "You have Ahmed and Reene joining your team. What is your strategy?"

"Well, Ahmed is one of my best friends at this school and Reene is said to be too creepy to hang out with due to her being having a Specter Stigmata, so I took her under my wing so she can have a friend!" Ko'rai said, letting out a hearty laugh and placing his hands upon his waists.

Sang So-Yi glanced over at Reene, noticing her sitting on top of a tree branch with her legs crisscrossed then looked over at Ahmed, watching him tighten the golden armlets upon his wrist. Not understanding the core strategy, she knew each member of Ko'rai's team was a perfect counter to hers.

"Well, when you're ready...feel free to strike back!" Ko'rai challenged, his body becoming a blur despite his muscular form then reappeared in front of So-Yi with a body shot.

So-Yi coughed in pain and groaned as the force of his attack sent her flying backwards, but she quickly recovered in the air, grabbing hold of a tree branch to catch herself. Her ears began ringing once again, a ghoul appearing behind her and launching his tail at her back.

Sang So-Yi only had a few seconds to react, taking those seconds to drop down to the ground into the bushes. Ahmed rushed toward the bushes and spread them open, revealing So-Yi missing with no trace of her anywhere.

"Where the hell is she? I watched her drop here!" Ahmed said, looking around his surroundings to find where So-Yi was.

Ko'rai crossed his arms and looked around with a smirk upon his face, ready to see how high So-Yi's IQ truly was. Suddenly, a rock was flung toward his face, but Ko'rai caught it effortlessly and scoffed. He lowered his hand, noticing a volley of rocks flying toward him then grunted.

He let out a tribal grunt then began breaking each rock with chops and swipes of his hand, a red mist releasing from his body as he stomped down, the dust from the broken rocks disorienting his vision. "Rocks?! As that what you call a noble tactic?"

So-Yi peeked her head out from a distant bush, looking down at Hoon and commanding him to bark. Hoon followed suit, barking and catching the attention of Ahmed, causing him to turn around and spot Hoon in the distance.

"There she is!" Ahmed called out, rushing toward Hoon and So-Yi eagerly with the hopes of eliminating her.

Jiahn swiftly intercepted Ahmed with a flying a tornado kick, catching him off guard and knocking him back. She let out a roar as she followed with a swift blow to his face as a receipt, but he caught her fist and smirked. Jiahn scoffed at Ahmed then leaped toward him, wrapping her legs around his waist then charged up an energy blast at his face.

"What the—" Ahmed gasped, his eyes growing wide as the light blue glow began to illuminate his entire face.

Reene sat up straight atop her tree branch as she heard the explosion, looking down at the ground to see a massive light blue smoke cloud as the aftermath of Jiahn's attack. "Nani..? These girls are wicked..~ Awesome..!~"

Ahmed grunted as she slid backwards along one knee, looking up at Jiahn with a smirk and stood up on his feet. "Heh, never thought the day I would be challenged by a Shopkeeper."

"I own a shop for the most powerful Valkyrias and Heroes in all of St. Goken. I also have two of the best bodyguards in Seolhart who've trained me since middle school," Jiahn said, dusting off the debris upon her green jacket.

"Really? You haven't seen Exzodian Martial Arts have you? Only us Exzodians really know the technique," Ahmed said, glancing over at Ko'rai with a grin and moved his brow up and down.

Ko'rai laughed heartily once more as he waved away the excess dust, crossing his arms and smirking at Ahmed. "You're Sorien, my friend! Your technique is lacking compared to us Alrean Folk!"

'Alrean..?! This dragon guy is in the same tribe as Mistress Kaguya?! Who are these people?!' Hyeon Bae stressed mentally, covering her head with her hood as she continued to hide behind a tree.

"Ahh, screw you too!" Ahmed laughed, playfully giving Ko'rai a middle finger then crossed his arms and turned his attention back to Jiahn. "Us Sorien people have a stance called Void Stance. Out ability mainly follows a specific verse from the first book of The Chronicles..."

"Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters," Ahmed said, a dark, formless energy forming around his body, his aura flowing silently as the waters of a formless Earth.

'He became the Null Element..?! Who the hell are these people..?! They are Exzodian, but they seem...no they are spiritually in tune, but...his energy lacks Light. Are Soriens the only one without Light..?' So-Yi questioned in her head, keeping a close watch on Ahmed with a discerning eye.

Jiahn stared at Ahmed, mentally going through all of her training but nothing came up about dealing with Exzodians, granted she had never met an in tune Exzodian until now. "Tch, I'm guessing this technique of yours can just make you intangible? I've dealt with a lot worse!"

Recklessly, Jiahn stormed toward Ahmed with a powerful strike, the attack landing true against Ahmed's face. However, Ahmed remained motionless, his body becoming a blur and becoming displaced left to Jiahn.

Jiahn felt her heart skip a beat from pure awe and hesitation, her eyes slowly glancing to the left to see Ahmed standing next to her unharmed. Her body jolted as she realization settled in, her legs causing her to take a few steps back from him.

So-Yi glanced down at her phone to check the ranks of Ko'rai, Ahmed, and Reene, grunting softly and glancing back up at the trio. 'Two B+ Ranks and a C Rank..? All of them have high Talent and Empathy, Ko'rai has the highest Charisma, Reene has the most Luck, and Ahmed...his Ambition..'

Sang So-Yi began to realize how much of a threat these three were, the sleeper agents of Class 12-A, silently climbing the Ranks, yet none of them possessed any form of Lust. It was the one thing they kept them from A Rank and B Rank respectively, and due to that, Luciel's words began to echo in her head.

Ko'rai's left ear began to wiggle, something hidden within the woods catching his attention then he turned around toward the unknown presence. Before he could react, a prone Su-Yun leaped forward with a swipe of her claws and a battle meow.

Ko'rai quickly dodged her attack then leaned backwards to avoid quick draw shot, the golden energy bullet hitting the large tree behind him. He came back up quickly with a primitive headbutt, cracking his skull against hers and stunning himself and Su-Yun for a short moment.

Su-Yun hissed as she stumbled backwards, clutching her head and groaned loudly. "Aiishhh!!! What the heck! A headbutt, are we serious?!"

"Hey, I hurt myself just as much as I hurt you! Why is your head as hard as steel!?" Ko'rai groaned, holding his forehead and leaning down in soft agony.

The battlefield fell silent for a split moment, everyone taking in the awkward and surreal moment. The moment was short lived as Ko'rai recovered first then went in for a Dragon Crush, launching a crushing palm strike with red energy around his hand in the shape of a dragon's claw.

Su-Yun's quick reflexes allowed her to recover in time to intercept his attack with her Catiger Strike, catching Ko'rai's hand and interlocking her fingers with his. "Hm, you would need to be a lot faster than that!"

'God, that was so cool!' Su-Yun fangirled to herself mentally having always wanting to intercept an attack in a manner after watching countless action movies during her college studies.

Ko'rai grunted in shock, trying to pull away from Su-Yun's grip but couldn't due to Su-Yun's surprising strength. "Geez, this woman is nearly as strong as Ms. Do Song Boon!"

"And there's more where that came from!" Su-Yun said, letting out a bellow as she struck Ko'rai's chest with a golden fist, releasing a pulse of energy that sent him flying through the forest.

Jiahn's surprised expression slowly shifted into a smirk, turning around to face her and gaining her nerves once again after witnessing Ahmed's technique. "Heh! This is the Sa Nu Rim I remember! Hey, we might be opponents now, Ahmed...but how about we tag together to take down an instructor?"

"Hm, I like the sound of that. After all, the lesson is Self-Control and that comes with knowing what battles to fight and what challenges to tag along in!" Ahmed said, grinning with ambition as he shifted targets to Su-Yun.

Reene watched as Ahmed and Jiahn began to work together, a soft breath of awe leaving her lips in response to the sudden team up. She hugged her large bat Beast, her gaze shifting toward Su-Yun and a smile formed on her face. "Yes...we shall take on Ms. Rim..."

"Let's go, you six against just me! Don't let this C Rank fool you! This C Rank belongs to Manaport, but I am a true S Rank at heart!" Su-Yun challenged, the sound of a cat's powerful meow echoing in the wind.

Sang So-Yi stood up from the bushes and looked up as she heard a branch creaking, noticing Ko'rai handing from one hand above her. "Wow, you're durable...you took an attack like that?"

"Us Alrean are not known for being the most durable taken we like to go all out in fights, but I don't see this one needing my All Out Stance. She's toying with us because she knows she can destroy us in one strike...Heh, this is my kind of battle!" Ko'rai laughed, lowering down onto the ground then let out a battle roar, his draconic energy flaring around his body.

"Well, if we're all tagging along to defeat Mr. Rim...you all need military grade assistance. I shall provide the support needed for this daunting task," So-Yi said, bracing herself for the challenge ahead.

Hyeon Bae peeked around from the tree, noticing Su-Yun in the distance then a smile formed on her face. She glanced around the forest, noticing the 8 Foot Woman was now gone, and it was safe enough to join Jiahn and So-Yi once more to help take down Su-Yun.
