Third-Person POV...
Secret Meeting Hall of Reyas Academy
The meeting hall existed in a space few knew about—a chamber hidden behind layers of enchantments and security wards that would kill unauthorized intruders before they could even perceive the entrance. Only the academy's highest authorities had access, and only for matters of utmost gravity.
The centerpiece was an imposing table carved from a single piece of ancient blackwood—a tree species extinct for over two centuries, making the table itself priceless. Stretching twelve feet in length and six in width, its surface was polished to an obsidian mirror finish that seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it.
Thin strips of mother-of-pearl inlaid along the edges formed intricate runic patterns that glowed faintly with protective enchantments, creating a secure zone where no surveillance magic—no matter how advanced—could penetrate.
