The glittering crystal beings, who've been slumbering for over twenty thousand years, have been awakened.
There are six of them in total. When they awoke from their sleep, they appeared a bit bewildered by the outside world, as their awareness had been nearly stagnant during hibernation.
No matter how much time had passed, it was basically an eyes-closed, eyes-open situation, as if they'd had a dreamless sleep. After awakening, they only felt a slight weakness in their bodies, but there were no other issues.
The surrounding environment was still familiar to them. After sitting up from the hibernation pods, they looked at the other pods, their minds not fully recovered, yet they started to understand the current situation.
This was not an awakening triggered by reaching the dangerous threshold of energy reserves, but a human-induced one, which meant their sanctuary had been opened by someone.
A new civilization capable of accessing the entrance had appeared.
