The girls were thankfully not too angry with her over her leaving. They had just asked what she had done, and how she got the Gods to go away, and that's all.
With the Gods now dealt with for good, Dormammu gone and dead, and pretty much every dimensional threat you can imagine gone and dusted, time had begun to....pass. Slowly but surely, things began to happen, and time crawled on.
The Gods now being away from her planet was a huge boon, and allowed for her to truly begin to expand the cities around her planet. A planet that began to get warped and terraformed more and more every month.
No longer were her people going out to just recruit new people to live in her cities. Now they were going out to save them from the incursions that were ripping through the multiverse, slowly but surely tearing the entire multiverse apart, thanks to the machinations of higher beings.
Higher beings that Gwen had been preparing for more and more.
Gathering items and objects from universes doomed to die in the incursions, gathering people that would be able to fight back against Knull when he comes, and against the higher beings when they eventually arrive as well.
She even began to train the girls much more extensively, and had officially spread the means for cultivation throughout her planet, specifically the cultivation arts of the Against the Gods universe. As her people began to rapidly grow in power, rising higher and higher.
With her girlfriends even rising into actual Gods over this time thanks to the cultivation, and were even developing their own domains of power and prestige.
She was effectively developing her own pantheon, especially with several others breaking through into the divine realms of the cultivation levels.
Alongside the cultivation, Gwen had begun to spread training techniques and required training for all those that wished to eventually take part in future battles that would undoubtedly be coming. Not against the beings of higher power of course, as they wouldn't do jack shit.
No, they would be for the battles against weaker threats.
And her people were massively growing thanks to the training, while she herself had been growing at an extremely rapid pace. Using her domains to learn new things, like martial arts that could bend reality, magics that could shatter worlds, and sciences that could help her protect her people.
She had been abusing the usage of otherworldly quests extensively, going to other worlds and gathering power and objects from them. Going to worlds like JJK, One Piece, DxD, and several others during the passing times.
She had also connected the DC universe to her city, with only Alfred, Bruce, and Dick being able to enter. And the latter two had also begun to take advantage of the training she offered, with both of them growing at rapid paces learning new martial arts from Gwen and her various androids made to teach.
The other universe that had been permanently bonded to her planet was...Warhammer. With that universe going under sweeping changes now that her clone was effectively the ruler of that universe, having slaughtered all Tyranids and saving them from absorption.
Even wiping out most of the Orc's, besides those that had been willing to join under her...with the stipulation that she'd build an arena for them to battle in whenever they wished.
It was during this time that her clone had finally found and gathered the various objects from the Warhammer universe that she needed, with them now sitting within her vault in the Tower of Fate, just like all her other prepared weapons and consumable items.
On Earth Gwen had begun to slowly allow for the people of the planet to see as Mars was being terraformed, and allowed them to see as the planet began to develop into something...new and incredible. And it had caused the reactions she had expected.
Confusion, awe, and terror.
Terror that had been eliminated once she personally had stepped upon Earth with members of the council, and the growing Avengers watching over them. Drawing up an alliance between the planet of Mars and Earth, under the stipulation that neither would interfere with the other beyond helping them and trade.
Obviously the news that Mars was effectively run and owned by mutants caused outrage amongst the racist, but that didn't do anything with how massive their population was, and the open showing of technologies beyond anything they had.
The Avengers during this period had boomed in size, with many comic accurate events beginning to go down in the short period. With members like War Machine, She Hulk, Ant Man, Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and dozens of others joining the team in rapid pace, growing similar to their comic counterparts.
Gwen had of course been behind this. Silently helping push the team together in order to be prepared for the future.
A future that was coming soon. With her receiving news that symbiotes had been stirring around the universe, and that something was happening in Earth 616, something big, something...dangerous.
Knull was coming, and soon.
But it mattered naught for Gwen as she continued to train her power, amassing SL tickets for the eventual system evolution that was certainly coming, and even cultivating.
Cultivation that had led her to break into some of the highest levels of power in each of the universes.

Each of them had given her meaningful boosts in power, and had been a huge boon for future fights.
Besides cultivation, Gwen had also been deepening her connection to life, and learning to utilize the life equation to create life and improve upon it. Increasing the average lifespan of her people, strengthening their bodies by quite a lot, and just improving them every way that she could.
The technology of her planet had continued to develop and grow everyday, especially now that she had the aid of the Imperium, who had long since gotten used to her smaller, more normal form. A form that they believed was just a cover to hide her true self.
Which...wasn't exactly wrong, so she wouldn't correct that belief.
By the time two entire years had passed since the Gods had first met her, Gwen had completed another large amount of quests, with her now having a total of 625 quests completed, and 200 SL tickets saved up and prepared for usage when she would absorb and use all of her saved up objects and serums.
She had created new weapons and items that could keep her people safe from the onslaught of the symbiote hoard that would be coming to them. And she had grown the androids to the point that they were all now truly powerful in this universe, with the ability to destroy stars at their peaks.
And she had millions of them made and prepared for the future.
But finally, after two entire years, something had happened. Word had reached Gwen of an event that had finally gone down in Earth 616, earlier than when it should have, as if someone had manipulated it behind the scenes to move faster.
As if Knull had.
And she knew that was the case, as her clone within Earth 616 could feel the symbiotes of that world screeching in fear, as they all knew what had happened, as she knew what had happened.
That the Carnage of that world had done exactly as he had done in canon. That he had fought against Venom and the other symbiotes, and had managed to finally awaken Knull the God of Symbiotes before death.
And unlike in canon...it wasn't just one universe that he was coming for...but two.
And as Gwen sat in her office, her face serious as she looked through the eyes of her clone as a world was consumed by primordial darkness born of Knull, Gwen knew there and then...that it was time. That...
The War against Knull was finally beginning.

That's the end of the chapter!
A timeskip chapter, as I decided that I have been...dragging on this fanfic for way too long to be honest. So the Knull arc is beginning, and should last anywhere from 5-10 chapters. This also means that we are officially reaching the end stages of this fanfic, and the fic shall be ending within 30 chapters or so. Probably somewhere around chapter 300.
