[3rd POV]
A couple of days later, Gwen was back to it. Looking for new dimensions to conquer, take over, and assimilate under her rule. The conquering had become more and more meaningful to Gwen, as she grew stronger and stronger with each dimension.
She ended up going to the Ancient One, to ask if there were any particular dimensions that she wanted her to take control over. The first answer was of course the Dark Dimension where Dormammu presides, but she knew that Gwen wasn't strong enough to take that dimension just yet.
Dormammu was in the same realm as Galactus and the other higher entities, afterall.
So instead, she pointed her towards quite a number of dimensions, including the ones that she was already planning to take over. These being the Lightforce dimension, the Fire Dimension, the Poison Dimension, the Thunder Dimension, The Ice Dimension, and the Explosion Dimension.
The Lightforce dimension was chosen for very obvious reasons, besides the fact that it was powerful and useful. It was also going to mesh very well with her other dimensions, and was needed to finally stabilize the Darkforce within her. That and it would complete the duo.
The Fire Dimension would mesh well with her Magma dimension, and would massively strengthen all her fire based abilities, boosting them to new levels of power, and giving her the means to create fires that can burn just about anything.
The Poison Dimension would mesh well with the Acid Dimension, and even without that, it would be useful to have a powerful poison she could utilize at a moment's notice. That, and it would mesh very well with her powers she had obtained from Nurgle. She'd need to look into the Disease Dimension in the future.
The Thunder Dimension would mesh with with her electric Dimension, and would be powerful in combination with a host of her abilities. That and it would be an easy one to conquer.
The Ice Dimension would be powerful when in combination with her ice based abilities, and would boost a LOT of mutants in her city, including Bobby. It would also grant her a host of new immunities on a higher level, and would be useful for future fights.
The final of them was the Explosion Dimension, which was a dimension of pure explosions. It would be immensely powerful in combination with most of the dimensions she had conquered or would be conquering. Especially the Nuclear Dimension, where the combination would likely make a nuclear warhead from Earth look like a firecracker in comparison.
Conquering them had actually been the hardest part so far with the dimensions. As the Lightforce was not exactly pleased to have a user of the Darkforce trying to take it over, the ruler of the Darkforce nonetheless. But it didn't have much of a choice in the matter once she let out her pure, immense, star destroying light.
The Lightforce was very in tune with all things to do with light, and Gwen had more of it than anything or anyone...almost.
So after a bit more back and forth, the dimensions as hers to utilize, as it was conquered underneath her, and a quest was completed.

"I expected a bigger reward, but I guess now that I'm a new level of the system, the rewards are going to get smaller and smaller" Gwen said to herself as she floated in the Lightforce dimension, light curling around her as if it was hugging her.
With the Lightforce dimension conquered, Gwen decided to go onto the next dimensions.
The rest of them had all been not as difficult to conquer, besides the Explosion dimension. As it actually was harming Gwen a little bit, before she adapted and began to absorb the explosions. The explosions in question were immensely powerful, were constantly happening, and were absolutely massive. As in, larger than Earth massive.
Beyond that, due to the dimensions nature, it was spectacularly aggressive towards her. To the point that she had to basically beat it into submission, through a sheer force of power and might.
Gwen was a little annoyed at the fact that it took her around an hour just to conquer it, but by the end of the day, she was pleased, so it didn't matter much in the end. It would boost her power, and the power of the people in her city, so that is all that mattered.
She imagined that Scott would gain a huge boost in power from the Explosion dimension when combined with his powers. Jubilee would too. There were likely millions of mutants that could utilize the Explosion Dimension to their own gain, and Gwen was excited to see how they would utilize it.
With the conquering of dimensions done, Gwen decided to spread her senses out further, in order to find what dimensions she should take next. Only, the second she did, she felt it, the others gazing back at her.
'...Well, looks like Dormammu and Mephisto are aware of my existence, not exactly a good thing, but I can work with this' Gwen thought, calculating which would be less problematic to deal with.
All signs pointed towards Mephisto, who was better of consumed and dead. He was a genuinely problem for her, and was not as strong as Dormammu, but was a lot more calculating and manipulative. He wouldn't be able to touch her, but he would be able to cause some serious issues for her people.
'...The real question is, am I even strong enough to fight him yet? He's stronger than the Surfer but weaker than Galactus. So realistically I should have a chance after a few boosts. And if I kill him, then all his land that he has will be mine, giving me a lot more power, and a better means of conquering more. It will also give me a new place to experiment, and a ton of new subordinates' Gwen thought, as she knew that Mephisto had a rather large dimension underneath his rule, and a lot of servants.
He would also boost her power by quite a bit, and was an excellent way for her to gain access to further dimensions to conquer. Dimensions like the one owned and ran by Nightmare should be a cake walk to conquer after she finishes with Mephisto, giving her the means to conquer most dimensions, and by the time she had all that done, Dormammu's would be the last she'd need.
Mattering on the version of Dormammu, it would either be the hardest fight of her life so far, or it would go somewhat similarly to the fight she'd have with Mephisto. Either way, she decided that she was going to take a few more dimensions that would boost her elements and powers, and then would go after Mephisto and his dimension.
The dimensions were mostly those that were easily conquerable and in line with her other dimensions. Dimensions like the Lava dimension, the Ocean Dimension, the Laser Dimension, the Storm Dimension, The Tsunami dimension, the Disaster Dimension, and a few more.
Conquering them hadn't been too difficult, as she decided to utilize clones in order to pick up the pace, and thanks to that, each of them were underneath her rule within two hours. Something that was likely causing panic amongst the other dimensional rulers like Mephisto. Especially since her power was rapidly rising with each dimension she was conquering.
With the conquering finished for the day, Gwen decided that it was time to take over a real dimension for once. Breathing out deeply, Gwen spread her senses and teleported off, her destination?

So serious question, should I up the pace of this fic and get it over with? Because I kind of feel like this fic is getting dragged on at this point, and it might be time to finish it up, before replacing it with a new main fic.
If so, this fic will be ending within the next 30-50 chapters.
