The notifications appeared directly in the darkness, making Severus stare in shock. He couldn't feel his body, but he was certain he was still inside it. Even so, he faced those status screens completely stunned.

The Black Heart… so that second heartbeat in his chest meant that?

His intelligence points, which had been at 1875, suddenly jumped to 4875 with the 3000 points he received!

Severus could barely believe what he was seeing.

His mana, which had been at 15 thousand, had risen to 115 thousand.

This was far beyond anything he had imagined possible.

What was that Black Heart?

Why had he received it here? All of this was very strange; when he believed that angel had done something to try to destroy him — or prepare his body for some kind of possession — instead, he gained unimaginable magical power, surpassing all of his expectations.

If Dumbledore was considered the most powerful wizard in the world with more than 450 or 500 intelligence points, Severus Snape now had over ten thousand, if he was adding the power of the Orb of Greed, which doubled all intelligence points and made his magic immensely more powerful…

He practically became a God of magic now with so many points! After all, magic worked in a way that every time you increased its points, it became even more powerful, and it didn't mean Severus was now just 20 times stronger than Dumbledore; he might be, perhaps, around 1000 times stronger!

And the thought left him even more stunned.

But from what he had seen in that vision… only a God could face that kind of war... Those kinds of monsters. Monarchs and even the Rulers... That colossal presence that made even his soul tremble just by seeing them in a vision.

The Beast Monarch and the Demon Monarch were incredibly strong, but nothing compared to the true Monarch of Shadows. And even so, the Rulers together were such a terrifying force that they surpassed even the Monarch of Shadows himself… and yet they knelt before him.

Severus couldn't get that out of his mind.

What did all of that mean?

Well… it didn't matter at the moment.

Perhaps he would never know the answer.

His vision began to clear at this moment, and the system notifications disappeared.

He immediately contained his mana before it could burst out of him like a nuclear reactor. He could feel his ten thousand magic points wanting to erupt violently, but he quickly took control, even going so far as to deactivate the Orb of Greed to avoid losing his grip, and his mana settled at nearly five thousand points.

He then began to see the ceiling of the hall again, blinking a few times as he finally managed to open his eyes.

He stood up, took a deep breath, and looked to the side — where he still saw the enormous metallic hand pressing the angel's body down, the angel staring at him with eyes completely wide open.

"Finally…", said the angel, beginning to smile and leaving Severus a little confused.

From the angel's point of view, the human before him seemed far more terrifying than the one he had fought before. Even after he managed to initiate the ritual by using the system so Ashborn could take control of Severus's body, he had been trapped by the magic Severus used earlier — that metal he created to pin him to the very ground with transfiguration had never undone itself.

And he remained there, trapped for days, waiting for Ashborn to awaken in that unconscious body. The statues themselves stayed still, none of them had disappeared, and all the angel could do was remain there, frustrated for having fallen into such a situation.

"Ashborn…", said the angel, opening an even bigger smile, while Severus's now purple eyes glowed with power as he stared at him. There was no doubt — this was no longer the same boy as before.

However, his expression changed when Severus opened his eyes, stunned for a few milliseconds… before narrowing them toward the angel.

That was enough for the angel to realize something was wrong.

The boy's eyes were no longer black or blue when using mana. They were purple, bright, pure — but the presence was his. He had the feeling he was still facing the same human he had placed in the ritual, which made no sense!

It was as if Ashborn had never truly taken control of the body, as if the Monarch of Shadows had decided to betray what he had agreed upon with his other "companion."

Severus closed his eyes for a moment and began to rise. Then, he faced the angel, now standing before him.

"This Ashborn is the being you wanted to replace me with? He is the Monarch of Shadows, isn't he?" Severus's voice made the very environment tremble, exuding an aura so dangerous it distorted the air, with a faint purple glow surrounding him.

"N-no… it can't be…", stammered the angel. "You are still… him! The human? How…? Ashborn was supposed to take over your body!" He could barely move while the giant hand still held him down, becoming increasingly terrified by what was happening.

"Well… that doesn't matter anymore," said Severus. "I actually had a few questions, but I don't think you're going to tell me anything. You're dangerous and must be destroyed immediately. I'll find my answers later, after all, you mentioned another companion..." Severus raised his hand, calling the staff that had fallen to the floor. It lifted on its own and flew into his palm with a soft touch.

Severus held it, and the staff seemed to vibrate with excitement, as if it were thrilled. He looked at the glow running along the staff — a purple energy flowing into it, transforming his mana. It was no longer blue.

Now, his magic was purple.

The staff also changed; once white with glyphs and a blue crystal, it began turning black with symbols and purple light.

Severus himself was now far more powerful than before.

His mana was much more refined. And infinitely more destructive, if he wished.

It was as if the world's own magic reacted to his presence, even though he was in a separated space and not in the real world. And he hadn't even tested his orb that would double his magic; as he mentioned, he would be some kind of god, wouldn't he?

"This… shouldn't be happening!" shouted the angel, terrified as he felt Severus's power. His staff — one of the most powerful items in the universe for a mage — had begun responding directly to this human.

Severus ignored the sensation of magic filling his body and simply stared at the being before him.

"It seems that whatever you tried to do to me didn't work, and this Ashborn will not be coming back," said Severus calmly, beginning to walk forward while carrying the staff.

The angel clenched his teeth, refusing to believe his plan was falling apart — that he might have been betrayed by both his own companion and by Ashborn as well.

"No… I won't let this happen! I created this system! Die!"

Suddenly, several notifications began appearing before Severus — all warning that he was about to die.

"So you control the system?" Severus asked in an almost political tone, completely indifferent to the death alert. He stared at the angel, and then the notifications began to change.

"You said you were the one who created this system… but now it no longer belongs to you," he declared, as the messages shifted before his eyes. The screens, which were usually blue, began turning purple, matching Severus's new appearance.

"What?! You… you're… hacking the system?!" screamed the angel, horrified as he realized he was losing control.

Severus now had full control of the system.

He closed all the death notifications with a single thought, feeling that the system was no longer under the possession of that being or anyone else — but under his. He now controlled the system.

Amid the angel's stunned gaze, Severus simply stepped forward and touched the staff's glowing purple tip to the creature's head, which still stared at him in disbelief.

The angel's eyes widened as black flames began to burn him, starting from his head and rapidly consuming his entire body with a destructive pain, even for an entity like him.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH—!"

The scream echoed throughout the cavern as he was devoured until he completely vanished. The black flames also consumed the metal of the giant hand holding him down, dissolving it. Severus reversed the transfiguration, and the rest turned to dust, scattering across the floor.

The black flames disappeared soon after reducing everything to ashes.

Severus placed the staff at his side and looked at the giants nearby. As soon as he struck the staff against the ground, the colossi began losing their purple metallic coloration, turning into dirt and stone before crumbling into dust.

Now, the place was completely silent.

Severus had many questions about what had happened and how everything had ended that way, but he could hear no answers beyond the absolute silence.

Severus still remembered that the Angel — or Architect, as he sometimes called himself — had said he had a companion… and he wasn't talking about Ashborn.

Who could this companion be?

A person suddenly came to Severus's mind.

"Could it be…?", he thought, as his purple eyes narrowed.

He looked at the staff, thinking about placing it inside the system, but something different happened.

The staff began shrinking at lightning speed, compressing itself until it transformed into a black ring with glowing purple runes identical to those on the staff's new form. It fitted itself onto Severus's finger, pulsing softly.

Severus observed the ring with satisfaction, turned, and continued forward through the tunnels of the now-lonely cave.

His shadows had returned, ready to be summoned. They appeared immediately, begging to protect their lord, all agitated.

They had witnessed everything that happened from the darkness of his shadow but couldn't emerge — they were all deeply frustrated, from what Severus could sense. Even the shadows he had left outside the portal, which led to another world/dimension, had disappeared; they had all been teleported directly back to where he was.

Severus simply sighed and moved on, crossing again through the first dungeon beyond the double doors, and then exiting through the portal, emerging into the forest with the blue portal still open behind him for a few seconds before it vanished completely.

"At last… I'm back," Severus murmured.

He thought of Prince Manor. It was far, but now, with his magical power, he could simply teleport there far more easily than before. However, he still needed to release his magic again — he needed to see how it would react in this world.

He activated the Orb of Greed.

Then, he held back no longer.

The portal had already vanished without leaving a trace — and Severus unleashed all of his magical power at once.

In the next moment, every creature in the world sensitive to magic felt the overwhelming impact coming from a single direction. The forest around him simply bent, as if it had been swallowed by a purple cyclone, while the air exploded with pressure. All the surrounding trees fell toward the vortex of wind created by his aura. The sky, even though it was night on that side, darkened and black clouds began forming around that forest as if a hole had opened in it, with the central point being Severus, emitting his aura of pure magical power — more powerful than anything they had ever seen.

In that instant, the magical power of the most powerful creature to ever exist in this world manifested fully — and exploded.

People across the entire globe felt it, all turning their frightened eyes toward Great Britain. Wizards, magical creatures, ancient beings, and even sealed entities, all around the planet.

And beyond it, on Mars, a certain white creature standing near the frozen comet lifted its gaze in shock toward Earth, sensing one of the most powerful magical eruptions ever to appear in its existence, even for him, now a monarch. On the dark side of the planet, he could see a small purple point glowing.
