Chapter 203 - Chapter 203: Transit Again II

"Where is this thing taking us?" Annie asked as she braced herself as the bus jolted over the rough road. She looked at Kawamoto, who had just squeezed her breast. Annie's eyes narrowed into a glare.

Kawamoto looked away as she tried to get up

"The Goddess is guiding us," Misuzu said calmly. She looked at the robotic driver, Ted, whose eyes glowed white.

Taniuchi leaned against the seat as she watched the dashboard flicker.

She then looked at Ted. "The chip reprogrammed him. He is taking us somewhere," she remarked.

"Then where exactly is he taking us?" Annie repeated.

Kawamoto stood up. She held the B23R pistol tightly. She felt its weight. It was unfamiliar but strangely comforting.

Annie raised an eyebrow. "Do you even know how to use that?" She smirked. "It's not a toy," she added.

Kawamoto didn't flinch. "The Goddess will guide me," she said. She stepped toward the window. She saw zombies sprinting behind the bus. She took a deep breath. She thought about how they took her alive away. She remembered Lois. She thought about Lois.

She held the pistol with both hands and pulled the trigger. The gun kicked hard and jerked upward. The shot missed, and the barrel nearly smacked the roof of the bus.

Annie chuckled. "You'll learn. Or die trying," she said as she looked at the zombies running behind them. She thought they were like mini titans.

"Kawamoto, are you okay?" Taniuchi asked as she rushed to her side.

Kawamoto nodded as she held the gun. "Just getting used to it," she said. She got up and steadied herself. Kawamoto took another deep breath. She aimed again, and fired. A three-round burst tore through the air and struck a zombie square in the face. Blood sprayed across the dirt road as the creature collapsed.

"You did it!" Taniuchi exclaimed as she hugged her tightly. She turned to Annie. "She's learning fast," she added.

"If you can't do that, you won't survive," Annie responded. She thought that gun was different from what she had seen.

Kawamoto's eyes gleamed. "I want to try more," she said as she stepped forward. She aimed at another zombie sprinting toward the bus, and fired. The bullets flew through the air and hit him in the chest. "He is not dead," she said. She shot again. The three bullets hit the leg. The creature crumpled and twitched on the ground.

Kawamoto smiled. She had a quiet, dangerous smile.

Taniuchi watched her. Her heart was racing. There was something raw in her smile. She could feel her pussy gushing. She looked at Kawamoto and panted.

"What is wrong with you?" Annie muttered as she walked forward.

"We're heading into a tunnel," Misuzu shouted from the front.

The bus went into the tunnel. Kawamoto, Taniuchi and Annie walked to the front. They saw a tangled mess of wrecked cars. The vehicles lay in chaotic heaps, some piled atop one another, others smashed into roadside barriers. There was shattered glass was everywhere,

"This looks like our home after they came," Kawamoto remarked. Ted maneuvered the bus dodging all the scattered wreckage. The heavy vehicle through the narrow gaps between the smashed cars.

The tunnel walls bore scorch marks and graffiti. They saw bodies of zombies on the floor.

"What is that?" Kawamoto asked as she looked at a metal body.

They saw something in a large metal suit. The body was on the floor. It was not moving. It was missing an arm.

"Someone has been here before us," Annie commented as she looked at the body.

Ted drove forward through the tunnel and got out the other end. "I can see some up ahead," Taniuchi said.

She saw the sign "North Highway Diner," flickering in vibrant purple lights. There was an arrow pointing towards the buildings. The first building was a diner. It had a vintage, metallic structure with a curved roof and large glass windows. On top of the building the word "Dine" was written in purple neon lights.

Ted kept driving and stopped on top of a large firepool. The door opened.

Misuzu looked forward and saw two old gas pumps next to the Diner. The gas pumps were covered in cobwebs. The hose itself looked rusty. Behind the gas pumps there was a small repair shop. To the far side of the diner, stood a dilapidated shed. The doors were opened. There were large, gaping holes in its walls,

"A Diner? This is an American thing. Why are we at this place?" Taunichi asked as she looked at the Diner.

"Do you need gas?" Misuzu asked as she looked at the gas pumps.

"There is a box in that building in front," Ted shouted. "Take what is inside the Box and come back," Ted ordered.

"I don't like you ordering us around," Annie snapped back.

"The Goddess commands," Ted responded. His eyes glowed white.

"The Goddess is showing us the way," Misuzu added as she went forward.

"Careful, there is lava there," Taniuchi warned as she saw the lava pit.

"Why did it park here?" Kawamoto said as she pouted.

"There is a box in that building in front," Ted shouted again. "Take what is inside the Box and come back," Ted ordered again.

"He is getting on my nerves," Annie said as she jumped out of the bus. "Lets quickly get what he wants so we can leave," she added. The girls all left the bus. They started to walk towards the box.

They all saw a large, narrow, wooden box with a colored beam emitting towards the sky. There were two glowing question marks imprinted on the lid of the box, side by side and with the right one being vertically reversed.

"Why does it have a light coming out of it?" Kawamoto asked.

"Grrrhhhh," a guttural moaned.

They all turned around and saw a group of zombies coming towards them. The zombies wore dirty, tattered hospital sheets, stained with grime and old blood.

"More of those things," Annie said as she clenched her fist.

"Sword," Misuzu said as a shimmer of pink light flared in her hands. It coalesced into a sleek, glowing blade. She lunged forward and sliced clean through the zombie's neck. The creature's head dropped with a wet thud. Its body collapsed seconds later.

"One down," she muttered.

Nearby, Kawamoto aimed her B23R pistol tightly. She looked at the zombie sprinting toward her.

She aimed and squeezed the trigger. A three-round burst cracked through the air. Each bullet struck the zombie square in the chest. The impact sent it stumbling backward. There was blood coming from the bullet wounds. The zombie dropped to the ground. Kawamoto lowered the gun slightly, her arms trembling from the recoil.

"That was amazing," Taniuchi commented. She had a big smile on her face.

Kawamoto exhaled slowly. "I'm starting to get the feel for it," she said.

Misuzu swung her pink sword around. She saw another zombie coming towards them. She moved her sword forward and struck the zombie in the chest. She pushed the zombie back and crashed it against the wall. The zombie spat blood and died.

"This is all," Kawamoto said as she looked around.

"Let's get this thing," Annie said. She looked at Misuzu and kissed her teeth. She wanted that power.

They all entered the Repair Shop and walked towards the box. "Who is going to open it?" Kawamoto asked.

"I will do it," Annie responded as she approached the box and pulled the latch open. She opened the lid of the box with her hand.

"We should be careful," Kawamoto said.

Taniuchi knew she was right. "We don't know what could happen," she added.

"Dont you trust your Goddess," Annie said as she reached into the box and pulled out a gun.

The gun was an assault rifle with a compact barrel and flash suppressor. It had a full-length top rail and a padded foregrip. The gun had a tan-and-black color scheme. It had a curved magazine. The weapon had a sleek polymer-metal construction.

"A gun?" Taniuchi asked. "Why did he want us to get that?" she asked.

"The Goddess has guided us here," Misuzu reminded her.

"Then, there must be a purpose for the gun," Kawamoto remarked.

"You take it," Annie said as she threw the gun.

Kawamoto quickly caught the gun. She felt it was heavy. She looked at the gun and smiled. She thought Lois had a similar gun.

"Dont throw stuff," Taniuchi shouted. She looked at Kawamoto and thought she looked sexy holding the gun.

"She wanted it," Annie said. "Let's get out of here," she added.

Misuzu looked at her. "That gun was given by the Goddess, you threw it away," she said.

"I had given it to the right person," Annie chuckled. "Besides, I have my own way," she added. She thought a gun was not going to help. She was going to need more. She looked at Misuzu`s ring.

Kawamoto Taniuchi and Misuzu looked at Annie. However they all followed.

They all walked outside and spotted a black box in the middle of the road. It was between them and the bus.

"Was that there?" Kawamoto asked as she looked at the box.

"I don't think so," Taniuchi responded.

Annie looked at the box. She thought how did that get there. All of a sudden there was a black mist covering the box and it transformed. They all saw a creature with a large, gaping maw filled with sharp, glowing blue teeth. It had a dark and leathery skin covered in spines and ridges. Its limbs ended in clawed hands.

"It transformed," Misuzu said as she got ready.

The tentacles on the Mimic's back launched towards Annie and grabbed her by the waist. It immediately reeled her in.

"It grabbed her," Kawamoto said. Misuzu and Taniuchi stood there.

Annie looked at the creature. "Get off me," she said as she bit her lip. There was an explosive surge of energy rippled through her veins. There was a golden-white flash. A pillar of steam shot skyward. Her skeleton elongated, twisted and reshaped itself. She felt her spine elongated. Her chest expanded outward into a sleek, defined frame. Her arms and legs grew. Her fingers formed into hardened claws. Her head solidified. Her skinless face took shape and became feminine.

The tentacles snapped apart. Annie stood tall. She looked down at the grotesque Mimic.

She stepped forward and slammed her fist down with brutal force. There was a loud crack sound. The ground beneath the Mimic fractured. Annie didn't stop. She punched again, and again. Each blow was fueled by rage, and raw power.

The Mimic screeched. Its form was distorted with every strike. There were chunks of its body. It was splattering across the ground. Annie's final punch drove deep into its core and sent a shockwave through the concrete. The floor buckled, and the Mimic's body imploded. It was crushed under the sheer force of her assault. Its shape pulverized beyond recognition.

Annie stood over the remains. She jumped out of her body and the titan fell down onto the dinner. The building was crushed.

She landed in front of the girls. "That's what happens when you mess with me," she muttered.

The others watched. "What was that?" Kawamoto asked as she looked at his body.

"Beats me," Annie responded.

At that moment the bus honked. "All board," Ted shouted.

"Let's go," Misuzu said. They all boarded the bus.

Ted looked at Kawamoto. "You have retrieved the M8A1," Ted said. "We are going to our next destination," he added as he closed the door and started to drive.
